To the OP. The only thing you need to worry about is what this guy mentioned.

As long as you don't masturbate too much so the porn you are looking at starts to get kinkier and kinkier then illegal, then you'll be fine.

There is nothing wrong with doing it 5 times a week. I actually think this is too few times.

You will ejaculate whether you jerk off or not. If you don't masturbate you will orgasm in your sleep (wet dreams), or even premature ejaculate during the day. Your body will put out semen one way or another because it produces it in abundance.

Why not look into the positive side of it rather than concentrating on the negatives. Orgasms are a great stress reliever, release friendly hormones throughout the body and are one of the best legal highs out there.

Not masturbating will do more harm than good.
 
I am sure there must be something about losing *some* energy from ejaculating (not nutrients though!) , all those Soccer coaches forbidding players from having sex during major competitions must be onto something right ? Think about it this way, would you run faster if you haven't had sex/masturbated for a week or if you had done that 3 times a day for that same week ? I bet your testosterone levels would be higher and thus you'd have more energy to run. Yes/No maybe ?

This is one of the few sensible things said in this thread. The machineGun Lad is asking for advice and all everyone is doing is ridiculing him. I disagree though, that the semen produced in the wet dreams will be equal to the amount wasted when masturbating 5 times a week. If you do not masturbate at all, you will have 1-2 ejaculations a week at most if youre young, and 1-2 a fortnight if you are over 25-30.

You are already a vegan - stopping the junk food crap is otherwise a sure way to get less horny. But living food - a la Wigmore - is even more effective. If you really stop masturbating, you will get a happier life, away from porn, but you will be able to have more romantic phantasies which is so much nicer. Hard exersize, cold showers will also help you, but once you are truly away from the sad habit, you will appreciate your new "unhorny" life, away from the pathetic porn, and the inevitable selfloathing you otherwise get, sitting there panting by yourself with your dick in your own hand. i read something a couple years ago about a univ. study that showed men who masturbate 3-5 times a week statistically have a lower probability of colon cancer.

i don't think repressing your sexual urges by doing things like looking at pictures of your mom is very healthy, psychologically.

OP: If you can't get a girlfriend to take care of your sexual "needs", take care of it yourself. Chances are that since youre a registered bluelight user, you have much more destructive habits.

No, really? I imagined a big portrait of a severe-looking mum, hovering over him with a stern expression on her face, forcing him to put back his dick in his pants, making him trembling with shame. it's not a bad habit. it's healthy to release endorphins, it's healthy to make yourself feel good, and to maintain your reproductive system keep those juices flowing. it improves your sleep

you're body keeps making cum whether you jack off or not so youre not losing much nutrients
