So X has been dosing pure MDMA for a while now, and EVERYTIME my jaw turns into vice grips. I know the common things people use to try and prevent it. Thugs (just sarcastically making stereotypes) chew on straws, candy kids steal their baby sibling pacifiers (jk) and the most common I would think is gum. The gum helps at first until I forget it's there and go back to clenching now with gum sandwiched in between, or until constant chewing hurts the muscles by my temple. Anyone have any better solutions to stop this, my teeth already aren't in the best shape and I'm waiting to get dental insurance. I've heard magnesium works, personal views? How many mg? Or if anyone has figured something else out? Thanks

Don't say X, say I have been dosing pure MDMA. This is how we talk on this forum.

Magnesium works great, yes. However it's very important you get a highly absorbable form of magnesium. Forms like magnesium oxide are pointless to take, with a BA around 1-3%. This means only 1-3% of the dosage you took is actually absorbed.

The best form of magnesium you can get is chelated magnesium. It's BA is somewhere around 90% I believe. A dosage of 100-200mg an hour before taking MDMA should considerably reduce your bruxism (teeth clenching), and another 100mg or so as you're comedown should help to ease muscle tension.

Good forms to buy, (visit your local GNC, as Walmart and CVS most likely won't carry anything other than oxide): Magnesium glycinate, citrate and taurate.

Calcium and magnesium are two options. If it's very severe, get a dental guard to protect your teeth or consider taking a muscle relaxant.

If the above doesn't work, throw a mouth guard in to protect your teeth. Really though.

My clenching got so bad on 200mg of adderall that I was trying to adjust my mouth to stop hurting my molars and chipped one of my front teeth. Not pleasant. At all.

^^ Lol the chipped front tooth. I also have this badge of membership to the MDMA club.

i like to chew dip while clenching my jaw.. it kind of nums the gums and mouth i think.. try it out if your a tobacco user it might work for ya.
