I’m finally going to treatment. I already know I’m going to get shit for this post but i genuinely do want to be sober but i would like to bring in a couple xans to make the detox a little easier. I’m going to be detoxing from 5 years straight of iv fet, I’ve had no breaks and my withdrawals are terrible. I violently throw up for days (so hard I pee myself) severe anxiety, bad tremors, hot and cold sweats etc etc etc. I’m not trying to bring a bunch in but I would like to bring in 2 xans to help me get to the 72hr point. This place definitely searches, I’m assuming even the squat and cough, I didn’t know if maybe putting them into sweatpants pants strings and resewing the ends, if anyone has done this and it actually work pleaseeee give me some tips. It has to be extremely well hidden. Like I said I want to be sober, I’ve been on and off iv opiates since I was 13. I just know how my detox is and if I’m able to have a little assistance to get to the 72 hr point to take the sub then I really need to. If anyone knows how to accomplish this I would greatly appreciate it <3

The very thinking that's motivating you to bring Xanax into detox is the same thinking that's gotten you to the point where you are now. Think about that bro.

What benefit would two Xanax be for a brutal fentanyl withdrawal anyway? It won't do much.

You'll get through this, Xanax or not.

You could always help things along before going to treatment so you won't even need benzo support.
Here's a list of things that reduce withdrawals and support the overall detox process. They're all OTC.

Top 3:
  • Theanine
    - stops stress response, anti-anxiety, anti-insomnia, boosts dopamine
  • Agmatine
    - fast-acting antidepressant, anti-stress, boosts dopamine, prevents tolerance, potentiates other drugs, NMDA antagonist
  • Magnolol & Honokiol
    - potent anti-anxiety, antidepressant, anti-stress, anti-insomnia

  • Cannabigerol (endogenous opioids, enhance opioid receptors, prevent opioid tolerance, antidepressant, anti-stress)
  • Rhodiola rosea (adaptogen, all-around support, boosts dopamine, anti-stress)
  • Thymoquinone (pro-opioid effects, prevents opioid tolerance/withdrawals)
  • Curcumin (prevents opioid tolerance, dependence, and withdrawal, potentiates opioids)
  • Creatine (anti-depressant, reduces opioid withdrawals)
Opioids that work directly and indirectly:
  • Caryophyllene (antidepressant, potentiates opioids, prevent opioid tolerance)
  • Myrrh (delta-opioid agonist: curzerene, furanoeudesma-1,3-diene)
  • Menthol (direct opioid, enhance opioid receptors, prevent opioid tolerance, boosts GABA)
  • Myrcene (enhance opioid receptors, prevent opioid tolerance, potentiates opioids, sedative)
