How much diazepam will make u sweat less, stabilize your body temperature and makes u sleepy ? It heavily depends on this. Diazepam + bud = great for sleep and nausea. Add loperamide in therapeutic dose and u will be depressed but wd symptoms should be moderately treated

How many pills, what dose each? Now much h are you using daily, via what route of administration? Definitely add in loperamide but could you not get gapapentin, clonadine & more diazepam online/DNM!

Valium with lope is actually pretty decent for opiate wd. Ive come off morphine and dilaudid with just those drugs. Due to its muscle relaxant effects valum is better at treating wd then most other benzos imo

Seconding this

And take time off work. At least five days

how about 10mgs methadone
I have valium n lope and clonidine
plus other ones like pregabalin and kratom and tapendadol
However they don't prevent any opiate sickness that I can tell
Want to switch to subs; terrified of getting sick yet again.... for weeks in my experience

Gabapentinoids do amazing things for opiate withdrawal
Valium should only be used for sleep
Clonidinr I don’t actually know how to use but it’s very helpful
Don’t take kratom if you’re taking loperamide.
Don’t know about tapendadol

Here is the master list in order of importance

DLPA- has the most profound overall benefit by providing building blocks of dopamine
Magnesium - helps with restless legs and stress
Liposomal vitamin C - helps with everything
Vitamin D- helps with the PAWS depression
L-theanine - helps with stress by providing immediate calm take more than recommended like 300 mg
ashwaghanda - regulates cortisol levels which are going to be going haywire
Multivitamin - helps with everything
B-complex- get that shit out of your system faster and have energy in the fucking mire of post opiate life
Iron— helps with not having been eating right if that was the case for you

This may be just me but I also keep really fuxked up hot chilis on hand. If you rub them on your gums and oral mucosa they can release super potent endogenous endorphins like opiorphine which will give you a solid twenty minutes of relief. Mmmmmmm pain

Speaking of pain.

Go get your ears acupunctured. Just tell them it’s for heron or opiate detox. Maybe placebo sure but placebo works 50% of the time if you believe the placebo will help

under the advice of your doctor
Good comfort meds
Gabapentin - 1800 mg is used by Iranian doctors but this is unprecedented in the us but I found it worked for heron withdrawal
Clonidine - never tried it but I’ve heard good things
Don’t know anything about the dosage
A benzo- helps with the sleeping. Don’t use it for anything else.

If you can find the strength. Begin light exercise as soon as possible. Endorphins really help.

Remember that you’re going to be hopeless. You’re going to be sad. You’re going to have to rebuild your life, your coping mechanisms, and your reward system from scratch. No one can do this for you. Rehab can help if you’re afraid you can’t bear the weight. You’re stronger than you think. But everyone needs help.

If you’re going to relapse it’s time to consider MAT
I’d rather see you on methadone than see you curled over in the street scratching your bones through a xylazine sore

I’d rather see your teeth fall out from suboxone usage than see you with the smile the mortician chose for you because fent took you from us.

I’d rather see you at the Smokeshop buying kratom having decided to give kicking another try later.

I’m a college graduate. It took me longer to make the decision to quit using opiates and even longer to quit than it took me to earn a four years degree; and that took me seven years.

I’m speaking from experience.

I know you can do it.

Take time away from work if you need to.

I’ll borrow from something u told my friend Anthony

“ hope you can make it past the really hard stuff. Picture yourself in the park. Lying on a big blanket. Little charcuterie. A person you love. It’s a beautiful day for a picnic in the park. You didn’t have to wake up and dose. You don’t have to run to the bathroom and dose. You don’t need to dose first thing when you get home. That’s what you’re quitting for. Not so much your family or the possibility of an OD. But because you deserve to have that freedom to just be alive, to just be happy, and to have no obligation to some receptors in your brain. But like you said, not OD ing is really important and I get that. But what I really wish for you is the freedom that comes with taking some time away from this chemically dependent life that it seems has not been so gratifying given the health troubles you’ve faced with overdoses.”

Or just being sick and tired of using.

All I know is when you get everything right again. Being sober feels kind of good.

Let me tell you where I’m at today.

It was hot. I could feel it. The wind was cool. I could feel that. No golden blanket hiding me from experiencing the world. I drive with the windows down getting dopamine from music. I’m happy. I worked for nine hours. I talked to my best friend. I felt joy.

That isn’t to say I didn’t feel sadness. Look up my post before this one. The point is. There is sweet with the bitter. And I did something good for someone today even though it took a lot out of me.

Now I’m writing this for you, for Anthony, for myself, for everyone who like me wanted to quit at home : e it for pride or arrogance or for a belief in the indefeatable nature of our human spirit.

I know you can do this.
If you’ve quit before and relapsed.
I know you can do this again
Good luck. God speed.

May the gods smile upon you
Perhaps you will smile back.

These vitamins will be amazingly helpful.

Also just in case you missed it the dose here is for Gabapentin and not pregabalin

Tapentadol Is toho strong, clonidine makes your blood pressure lesser. But tizanidine ( derivative of clonidine ) Is wonderful muscle relaxant And hypnotic ( Valium + this or clonidine and u will fall asleep.

I wouldn’t call to tizanidine a wonderful muscle relaxant but is better than the other muscle relaxants - can’t beat Valium though.

Guys I hate gabapentinoids anyways ...the dose i get comfy with valium is 15-20 mg ...I don't much like benzos either ..fuck this rollercoaster I just want out ... I wasn't born an addict and actually I will start to take huge pride for every day I don't use.

It’s always a great help not to like these drugs. Taper until you’re really uncomfortable and then start using the diazepam is my recommendation. You shouldn’t need more than a week of tapering to get to that level given you haven’t been on h very long. But it’s amazing how much a slow taper can help.

I feel you on the Gabapentin. I'm prescribed and it made me gain weight, and since I just could not abide by that fact, I stopped taking it. I now realize it did help with my back pain...still not worth it.

I have quit heroin just a handful of times and never had more than Clonidine .01mg every 8 hours. I cannot stress the PLEASE WAIT AT LEAST 8 HOURS before dosing again. Typical junkie behavior, one Clonidine wasn't kicking in fast enough, so I took 2 and then maybe one more. Thankfully, I lived 5 blocks from the hospital. It wasn't that my blood pressure dropped too low, it felt like my heart was banging around in my chest. So, I got myself good and freaked out and went to the ER. I didn't tell triage I was kicking smack, that would warrant getting flagged in the future. The nurse said it sounded like a panic attack, as my heart rate was ok.

Yeah, so, Clonidine and make sure you taper off of it before you stop taking it. Gabapentin does help to a degree for slight sedating effect. Didn't matter what I really took, comfort med wise...still gotta pay that piper!!!
Honestly, when I took the Clonidine correctly, it really helped with the restlessness and sweating.

Good Luck. I can tell you that today I have just shy of 4 months off a TRULY SHITTY HEROIN REPLACEMENT...dirty 30's. Hate Fentanyl, the high sucked to me. It is fantastic to wake up without that monkey on your back and head outside knowing you can do whatever you wish without needing a fix first!!!!!

The first couple weeks were rough-ish. The third week was crucial, as it had been the longest time I had been without an opiate, since my two year prison bid over a decade ago. Once some energy returns, it just gets better and better.

IT IS WORTH QUITTING FOR
YOU ARE WORTH IT.

10 mg is going to be pretty harsh. It was too much for me to come off of voluntarily at home. i recently did a taper from 10 mg down to 1 mg over two weeks then went cold turkey and it wasn’t too bad compared to severe withdrawal.

Stoked for you bro. Keep spreading the good vibes.

Other good news. My health is coming back. I thought I was fucked. Turns out I just needed some minerals and solid nutrition for a couple of weeks.

Stoked to be stoked along side you

Tend to overthink things.
Thinking I may run out and w/d sets in whether or not I dosed normally
Probably my panic disorder and OCD making sticking to any regimen daunting.
Recently spent a week kicking myself for a benzo binge that led me down a dark road.
It's sorted not.....Never again I say! (famous last words)
Wondering if a bupe taper could help. from under 10mgs methadone to ??? bupe. And how to avoid PWD.

Partial agonists like kratom and tapentadol seem to hit me the same regardless of the methadone.
Probably also near worthless for methadone withdrawal too.
Stupid pain condition and being older (56) means I need to grovel and beg my doctors just to leave me on 20mgs methadone and 1mg clonazepam.
Switch me after 20 years and I'll be looking elsewhere before suffering brought upon myself by myself with the complacency of my retiring pain doc.

Retiring pain doc should give you a referral to someone to continue their good medical practice

The medical guidlines release by my state medical board explicitly state that when an opioid or benzo patient doctor retires, the new doctor should continue their prescription even if they want to take them off the drug - they should then taper them not make them stop cold turkey. It states that if they are cut off cold turkey suicide or using illicit sources is likely.

The DEA doesn’t agree and so the doctors have to ignore the state medical board
