Need some verification for acetone meth wash

First of all I am sorry if I did not post this in the correct forum. This is my first post.

OK. I have read and re-read the posts about purifying meth specifically with acetone. After a few weeks reading, I ordered 99.5% pure acetone. I was interested to try it. I had 11 g's that I wanted to wash. So, I weighed the Meth and it was 11.65 G's. I put the meth in a pyrex dish and poured in the acetone about a cup (z). YES, it was crushed up fine into powder form) I stirred it with a glass rod for not longer than two minutes. I then poured the contents in to a polypropolene/nylon coffee basket with two brown paper filters inside (unbleached). The acetone drained and then I took out the coffee filters and folded the corners and put that on top of several paper towels and squeezed until there was no more acetone coming out. But it was still damp, so I scraped the meth off the coffee filters and put it on a black ceramic tile and spread it out thin and put the tile under the stove fan and turned on the fan. I check for acetone smell, and in about 20-30 minutes there was NO acetone smell at all. (however, the meth did smell kind of sweet, like a baby powder or talcum powder). In about another two hours i re-weighed it and it was about 11.03 grams. I had only "lost" .62 Grams.

Does this mean that I did something wrong, or does it mean that I had a very high quality product? I would like to know if I did anything incorrectly. I don't think that I did.

what you lost you lost in transfer.
I could wash meth with water and get the same result.
Actually i have done it the meth then burn shitty but got you high as a kite.
Probably the eliments from the water i dunno .
But i wouldnt have washed 11 gs in the first place why do it if you already have clean burning meth which i assume you had concidering yer results..????

Well I guess I did it because I wanted to verify if my product was in fact bunk or not. But prior to the wash it did have some brown dots left over in the pipe every now and then. Although AFTER the wash not even as many and seemed a lot more mellow (no coughing at all) Perhaps a bit of cut? So I don't know. It's a new high for me and I want the pure product even if that means washing it. So, live and learn I guess. Lost over half a gram in transfer? whoa, i thought the acetone only takes out impurities, cuts. Didn't really know anything about the supplier (a friend of a friend) but I am going to assume now that its quality crystal.
