need some advice!!!

Hi my name is Danielle, I am new to this site and have some questions about methadone. I been taking 20mg of methadone for about a year now and i am thinking of switching to suboxone actually am going to switch, but I dont know how to ease into the suboxone. I got my hands on suboxone for i used to be on it 3yrs ago for oxytocin habit. But i relapsed and ended up starting methadone. At the time I started taking it i never knew how bad the withdrawl would be until about 2 months ago when i was told it was worst then coming of oxytocin. So now i want to start the subs again but want to do it right. Please help!!!

have you considered just stopping methadone? or are you using methadone/suboxone for pain control/relapse prevention?

Welcome Danielle. I'm more of an expert with psychiatric medications. I'm sure you'll be able to find the answers to your questions about methadone here though.
