Need some advice on getting off opiates...

Hey All,

I've been on and off opiates for years. Usually when I come to USA (I'm American) I go to the docs and get meds filled (percocet 10/325) 120 of them.

I've been in USA since January. I live in Europe. My question is: normally I quit opiates by switching to tramadol and I have a few bad days (nothing too rough) and some upset stomachs (immodium works) and all is well. Here is the problem: I have to be clean before I go back to Europe. My doctor wouldn't give me any tramadol, and I can't find any ANYWHERE here in the Carolinas.

so here is what I have at my disposal : a lot of klonopin, I can get immodium, I have Neurontin, and right now I have some of the E 40 opanas that I have been mixing with Tylenol and snorting. (Never thought I'd snort a drug, but it's the only thing my people can get ahold of, and that stuff is EXPENSIVE)...

I also did buy 4 very small pills with an arrow on one side and an 8 on the other, they are Subutex (I have never tried these before)... what is the best way for me to get off this ? Like I said before, I have done it MULTIPLE times, like 7-8 times, just always with tramadol (doctor won't give it to me because I had a seizure a few years back when I quit ambien (ambien is my drug of choice and nearly destroyed my relationship with my fiancé). Anyways, I switched to klonopin for sleeping, and I am PERFECT... I don't crave ambien or anything like that.

Like I said, I do have the subutex, they are really small... and I know NOTHING about them... I also have 1 patch from Spain (here with me now in USA) that is called Transited 35 microgramos it is a patch for the skin and it says Buprenorfina 20 mg/ 25 cm 2(squared)...

can anyone please help me come up with a game plan? I was only supposed to be here until March, but LONG crazy things have happened and I need to go back to Spain COMPLETELY off pills... I also take adderall (20 mg ir) but I only take it once per day and haven't taken it for 3 days... (I don't have ADD, but I love the energy from it and it makes me work like a madman)...

so that's pretty much all I have...

please please please someone help me!

The subutex alone will do wonders for you.Its an opiate withdrawal medicine.I use it daily still.IMO the smartest thing to do would be to save your klonopin for bedtime,and take the subutex during the day.The subutex alone should help you with the WD induced anxiety buring the day.taking it as directed will get the job done.Im not sure with that mg/dosage,as i use the sublingual suboxone strips.Be careful though,Bupe is a strong drug in itself and the withdrawals from it can be just as bad,even worse than pain pills if you stay on it too long..Try weaning yourself to the lowest dose of bupe over the course of a few days.
