The past month or two and in fact the past half year. I have been drinking on a weekly basis.
anyhow the past 2 months. I would drink at least 2 nights a week sometimes 3 nights a week. Consecutive or in a row. This week per say. On Wednesday night I went out and had one beer then another beer then some more beerr and eventually at the end of the night I had around 5 drinks so to speak and some wine too, I had a good time socialized a lot, felt relaxed met new people, I mostly like to go to Bars and drink and socialize maybe drink by a River with some friends and stuff I drank a good amount that night even a shot of vodka, peach vodka Wednesday .

The next day I wake up , I only feel real shitty the first hour or two after waking up later on I don't feel hungover nor do I get headaches or anything feel Dehyrdated the instant I wake up and I have to drink a liter or a liter and a half of water . Go about my day, I find that alcohol impairs me but mostly during the night of drinking with only slight after effects the next day, the second day my memory and mental capabilities are back to normal.

Fast forward Thursday night head out with a friend to some club and again I drink this time 2 beers and a cup of wine around 3 drinks, and Again felt social and good had a good time as well. The next day I wake up feel just fine.

Friday, I took some speed or an Amphetamine derivitave small dosages and I drank again half a bottle of wine and around 4 beers. I had a good time probably very good I find that Stimulants either Coke or Amphetamine always mix nicely with Alcohol, such a nice feeling. But anyhow the next day I wake up feel shitty for the first hour or two and then again back to normal

Then Saturday last night I went out again probably had 3 beers and 4 smaller cups of wine, but woah this wine was strong and it f'd me up.And again had a good time.

Basically the past 2 months I have been drinking at least 1- 2 max 4 days a week, last week I drank 3 days as well and this week 4 days. What the heck is going on with me? am I developing a problem?? How can I cut down? The good thing is I usually only drink beer and wine no hard liquor. But still. It also seems that I only tend to drink in the evenings and at social events, never do I drink during the day nor do I have a strong urge to drink. But it seems that sometimes I have a slight urge to drink and that when I already had one drink it is very hard not to have another drink and then to keep on drinking. You guys had that feeling? like resisting the initial drink is easy but once you already had 2 or 3 drinks it keeps going.

ok this week Thursday night and Friday I wasn't so wasted nor drunk but I drank. When I drink I always feel in Control though, never am I completely wasted and not able to handle myself. But it seems Alcohol makes me lose and feel easy and shit, but I only stick to Beer and Wine and never get way to wasted or trashed but I always get a nice buzz going and a nice typsy feeling, but again never wasted trashed puking or blacking out.

What kind of drinker am I ? and is this a problem?

I had never had a strong taste for hard liquor or whiskey, Vodka, etc.

I mostly prefer Beer and Wine. I live in Europe so the beer I drink is stronger than the beer one would drink in the states and it has a better quality and taste too.
The wine I have had is mad good, French and Hungarian wine. Uff one bottle is quite a strong typsy feeling.

your a light drinker who is realizing the need to get a grip and slow things down . its nothing to bad at the minute but your heading down that slippery slop.

at the minute you can just stop without the withdrawals which maybe a good thing to do find something else to do on a night or if its because of the social part of going to the pub then just drink soft drinks or try which if your like me you wont be able to just drink one to take the social anxiousness away

Completely agree with you. Nobody really realizes just how addictive things are. Especially something like Alcohol. I am usually in the mind state oh just one drink its nothing, or having a beer is nothing that's how i felt when I first started to drink. Now I know I am a light drinker like you said but if I drink more or continue at this frequency its a problem. I still want to drink but just once a week like 4-5 drinks. For me its hard to just drink one beer the whole night if I drink I will have at least 3 beers if not 4-5 .
I never drank hard liquor though that much but I enjoy my beer a lot and my wine, especially cause the drunk feeling is more controllable and it comes on slowly, also the taste beer and wine are more appealing to me . But still I realize i need to cut down.

I am just realizing at the end of the week that the past 2-3 weeks passed by and there was not one week where I didn't drink at least 2 nights. And the past 2 weeks I drank a bit more. What usually causes people to drink more??? or I am not drinking more, but rather at a greater frequency. My hangovers are completely bareable and I actually feel the worse the first hour after waking up then I rehydrate and I feel better for the rest of the day.

There is something about Alcohol though it makes the end of the day or week better, it makes everything smoother. And it is a great way for Humans to bond, and Socializing is a lot more fun on Alcohol. I am living in Eastern EUrope and Alcoholism here is catastrophical everbody drinks.
