Need quaalude advice from someone who KNOWS (c. 1970)

Methaqualone is Very popular in entire southern Africa, they call it mandrax or MX. Johannesburg is called the Mx capital of the world. When i lived there i never really cared for them, 'cause i didn't know better( I was on my E honeymoon) but the more i read about them the more I curse myself for not trying them when i could. I remember friends complaining because they were sold MX instead of E! Or my gf getting really kinky after a "bunk" e pill, all to my advantage of course!
& Merry Christmas to you all!!!!

its not practical for a big mdma manufacturer to "branch" out to another drug, most likely that will mean new connections need to be made, and the last thing a chemist wants is to take another risk by establishing another connect, chemists want their monthly, yearly meeting with one person (the buyer) and thats all, they do not want to be a part of the drug culture, even though they are the SOURCE of the drug culture, there is just entirely too much at stake.

OK My 2 cents. I used a lot of ludes from 71-76.
They cost anywhere from 2-3 bucks a pill. If you want to wake up in the morning still fucked up from the night before, look out the window and wonder where you left your car, pray that there is
no NEW dents in it when you find it etc. Get the drift? We didnt call them dummy biscuits because
they boosted your brain power. About the closest drug i can think of besides valium that would mimic the effect for the seeker would be a 750 Plastideal. Now ask me about the T tabs that were
prevalent.... sigh

mr fix -
Wow! You can tell us about the drugs we were all to young to know about.. I did the real 'ludes, and I can see why they were so popular .. anyway, here are a few questions for ya..
1) How hard was it to get a script for methaqualone?
2) What did the pills go for on the street back then?
3) What about "Black Beauties"?
4) What other pharmacuticals were there back then that are no longer available?
Thanks! You can help give us a look to the past..

1. Never saw or needed a script.
2. I remember some lemons 50 cents a pill
3.Black beautys Yellow Jackets White cross;
You could speed anytime you wanted to.I dont remember to much meth untill about 1980 or 81.
I did mda in 1974. Acid and Columbian REDBUD/Gold
were HUGE. MR.Natural purple dots orange sunshine
windowpane Chocolate Mescaline.(one of my alltime favorites] Phencycladine in every way, shape form.
Heroin/Cocaine---Very rare. Speed and weed during
the week. Acid and T on the weekends.
4.Downers-red=500mg Green=750mg Plasideal. Dilladids.White morphines. The phencycladine tabs
sometimes were cut with smack to get the customer
back with the monkey on his back.
I forgot to mention the Blonde/Red Lebanese Hash.
50$ OZ. Weed was $15 Lid $20 OZ $45 QP
That is enough for today! All this drug memory lane ramble has me longing for a Hit. Laterz

Everything you listed is still available by prescription, though barbituates are rarely prescribed anymore, benzos have taken their place - benzodiazepines are a class of seditives - Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, etc..
