Opioids Need Oxy advice! Didnt crush time release pill up, oops!!

Hi all!
So I bought a few oxy 40s, they're yellowish, say 40 on one side and CDN on the other. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a time released pill, right? Well anyways I took one of them before I knew that they were time released. This is my first oxy experience, but I have had morphine injected numerous times at the hospital so I know km not allergic. My question is, is this still gonna mess me up? I read that it would have been much better to crush it up and parachute it. I wanna get a good buzz, but don't wanna over do it. Should I crush one up n do half? Or just rip on the one? Just a little unsure of its potential if not parachuted.

So how did it go? I use the same oxy pill, and yes, I believe it is a time release. I crush it and add a little warm water, about half a shot glass, and drink it. Never parachuted and I don't know what the difference might be. If this is your first time with oxy, I think 10mg would be a good start, so a quarter pill. But if you have opiate tolerance from another drug, this may not be enough. I certainly would not parachute 40mg for my first time though.
 
I thought all the oxycontin were OP instead of OC (tamper proof). Is what you're referring to a generic oxycontin that's only in Canada?
 
I have heard and read about the new OP, but I don't think this change has affected Canada yet. I think the CDN probably stands for Canadian and we are lucky enough to have avoided the change to OPs. All I know is I do not have to mix with Coke and let stand for 8hrs like I have read about for the OPs, so I believe here in Canada they are the OCs. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If this is what you got.. then yeah it's the Canadian designated OC's. All then other suggestions work rather well.. but depending on tolerance mind you.. parachute will only be a waste in my mind. The 40mg is slowly released over about a 12 hr. period.. doing the math that's 3.33mg an hour..not counting for the time curve for in system, peak and leaving system.
 
One thing I'll say is it's be worth waiting until the time released one you dropped hits you before you consider taking any more. There's a chance you have a particularly low tolerance so even with time released it'll hit you real hard, and you wouldn't want to find that out after you've already taken more.

How did it go? It's ~10 hours since you posted.
 
IIRC, the old OC's (and this may have been fixed since) aren't even true time release pills so much as they are bi-release-there's an initial release of the first half and a second release anywhere from 2-6 hours later, dependent on the users metabolism.
 
Sorry guys, thanks for all the information! I popped the one, waited just over an hour and then did another half and I was right zonked lol. Those are powerful little buggers! This site rules lol, I have a question about taking an SSRI and the metabolization of Codeine. I have found a few threads on here, but I was really wondering about how long you have to be taking the SSRI for, for it to interfere with the metabolization of the Codeine. To block it or whatever. Lemme know if I should start a new thread or post elsewhere. I have only taken Prozac (fluoxetine) for two days now. Will it be in my system enough to block the codeine? Thanks again all.
 
ok, so does anyone really know if the real OC's are gone for good? Or is there still some out there somewhere, like in Canada?
 
Damn yo I didnt realize Canada still had the real good OC's thats fuckin sweet.
 
Honestly i know two guys who still sell the originals. Are they saved up from before the change to O.P.'s? Maybe...who knows. They charge a SHITLOAD more for the originals then people do for the O.P.'s that's for sure.
 
Yes oxy's are still in canada, have been the whole time exact same pill but they say 80 one side CDN on the other. But very soon a new pill called OxyNEO will be replacing the oxycontin, apparently the same thing as the OP's. its a shame
 
im herein niagara fallsontario and we still getting good xys. fucking great love em. a few gel ones been around but hope they arent all like that

Actually, they say 10(white), 20(pink), 40(cream) and 80(green) on one side and CDN on the other. Maybe more. Sad to hear they are being replaced. Thanks for the heads up, time to stock up then.
 
if you arent opiate tolerant, a 40mg oxy eaten should still give you a nice high for a lot longer than if you sniffed or crushed it. If you are opiate naive its probably best you didnt bypass the time release, as 40mg is a lot for a first couple times. It will not cause you harm, but you might be in for some nauseousness and vomiting if it indeed was too much. but since you ate it with the time release you should be quite fine, better off id say
 
So if the real OC's are still in Canada, do u still have to get a script for them and if so, how would we here in the states be able to get them? Especially thru customs? I'm prolly wishing to hard huh? lol...

You could crush one up drop it in a shot glass, fill glass with alcohol let it sit for a few mins, stir and shoot it, then just pop the other whole, this allows the time release to work and then you get a strong kick to start and have the time release to rely on :)
