I am a recovered heroin addict that has been sober for 6 years and am finding it exceedingly difficult maintaining a square lifestyle when the medical system (hospitals) still treats me like a junkie.

My problem mainly is that due to the years of opiate addiction my serotonin levels are fracked and I don't feel happiness properly or joy or even sexuality. I need to find a way of getting opiates legally so that I can Feel again.

Anyone have any ideas on doctors or excuses in the Maryborough/Hervey Bay/Bundaberg region?

Don't relapse dude, I wouldn't even recommend a cwe. Just Mae some super potent hash cookies and settle for that

Seriously dude, Dope doesn't cut the mustard. I love my herb But it soothes me and relaxes me a lil But it doesn't work for what I require.

Opiates work, hash cookies are illegal and barely work.

I need a legal option.

When it comes to opiates, there are no legal options? Maybe you should try looking into non-substance use ways of getting yourself into a better headset. Sorry man, but this forum isn't really here to help you get high. Opiates aren't prescribed for or really suggested for mood control. They're painkillers. If you really feel the need to go down that road, just do a CWE on a pack of panadeins, it's the only 'legal' way you're really going to get what you want. If you're clever enough, you could even convert it to morphine and then to smack...

Excuse Me! I AM NOT HERE TO GET HIGH!

I am looking for a truly feasible way to cope with my serotonin syndrome without using psych meds that zombie-fy me.

I have tried everything legal that I possibly can. I'd be more than happy with 10Mg of morphine a day, I don't wanna get high, I wanna be in a stable serotonin level

Sorry mate it come acrossthat way, especially in your op. Ideas and excuses for doctors and specific townships/regions.... Pardon my ignorance, but my understanding was that opiates affect dopamine rather than serotonin.

yes that's right but the serotonin is influenced in the electrochemical soup (I'm not a doctor and don't understand everything properly). The reason I was asking for a doc/excuses is because I'm really at the end of the road with trying the legal socially acceptable way.

I feel like the pony at the circus that's done all the tricks asked of it, has jumped through the fiery circle of doom and impressed the audience, only to be flogged at the end of the night for not doing it well enough

I am at a loss as to what I can do.

I don't want to get high, I want to Feel.

I have epilepsy and they prescribe me benzo's like there going out of fashion (Which I don't take any of, as I like my memory intact thank you very much) why can't they just dose me with a tiny amount of opiate? the fits give me massive body pain

Try working out and getting physically active. This can help a great deal. I would also suggest counselling. No offence but your symptoms are most likely psychological in origin not physical (ie caused by the opiates). I recommend finding a good psychologist or psychiatrist in your area and being open to their suggestions. If you keep blaming it on your lack of opiates then you will never get anywhere (but possibly back on the heroin).

Bluelight isn't going to help you score opiates, that's not the point of the site.

By the gods of Kobol people I don't wanna get high!

Do you honestly think I'd be here if I hadn't tried everything first??? I see a psych and he agrees with me but is powerless to prescribe. The doc's are willing to give me everything barr morphine +, because of there guidlines they say. I am very physical (A fit is like a marathon run) and active. I look after my diet, my mental health and my physical issues BUT I have nothing in life that gives me anywhere near the happiness that opiates do. Its not a junkie thing, it's a brain thing.

I know this to be the truth as I had a 40Mg Oxy a week ago and for 3 days I was happy with stuff.

High for 1 day, happy for 3. Get it? It's not about being stoned!

Dude you're lacking endorphins rather than serotonin. Long term abuse of opiates dosn't lead to depletion of serotonin and it's transporters in the body.

Perhaps your body dosn't produce enough of it's own morphine man. Or then again perhaps it's all in your mind, i mean of course you're going to feel better after you take opiates.

But then again the possibility is there, i really do believe some people do have a type of depression thats seems to stem from a lack of endogenous morphine production that is maybe just genetic based in some and or maybe from long term opiate abuse. And perhaps thats why for some of us opiates are just perfect and make us feel great even if its not a dose that gets you high. I'm sure the OP and many others can relate to that.

Then again if you're dead set it's about serotonin why dont you get on some SSRI's. Or I guess you could go to the doctor, tell him you were a heroin addict, you're 6 years clean, but you feel like shit because opiates permantely damaged your brain(lol), and now you need opiates so you can feel happiness. lol. Cant help but laugh.

Hey OP, sorry but Bluelight is not here to help you acquire drugs, whether it is your intention to get 'high' or not.

I think you should definately talk to a doctor and be honest about what you are experiencing, perhaps it is possible for reformed addicts to go back onto a low dose of methadone or buprenorphine to prevent relapse? I don't really know much about OMT but I would be slightly surprised if they just let people do this.

There is always counselling and other medication like anti depressants you could try to get to the bottom of your depression. I hope you get the help you need but unfortunately I have to close this as there isn't any HR value here.
