Opioids Need major help getting off heroin/ oxycodone

I know several ppl who get dones from a regular doc but you have to have a serious chronic pain issue.
 
no one is trying to bust your balls or anything, but it is a serious, life-threatening combination to do THAT much alprazolam along with heroin or methadone or suboxone or any opiate/opioid, regardless of tolerance. i'm scripted .5mg alprazolam as needed for anxiety but my doctor was hesistant to do even that with the pain medication i'm on for endometriosis (10/500 lortab) as needed.

they will drug test you to write a script. the benzos will show up. a clinic will most likely make you go in every day to get your dose & they will drug test you whenever the hell they want. i would seriously consider tapering off the benzos if i were you, as long as you're considering switching from heroin to methadone. just in the interest of harm reduction...
 
I know my benzo dose has gotten out of hand, and I am for sure going to be cutting back on that.

anyways, I went in and got scripted Methadone. No tests were done by my doc.
 
The thing is I was only scriped 5mg twice daily, which seems like a very small amount of Methadone to take place of a 100 + mg Oxy habit.. but I guess we will see how it works.

That is correct. I was only prescribed a low dose, which is the reason as to why I think I didn't have to take any piss test.
 
I agree with pinpoint....what reason op? Just to simply do it, to go against what most everyone has said and bc there's no way to tell 100%. I seriously seriously doubt you got scripted, w/o a test, and induction period (mostly for subs but sometimes done", and take homes of methadone....IF you Did,, your Dr is either stupid, or doesn't care all...either way don't OD
 
You went to a clinic and got "5mg's twice daily"? I don't know...maybe it's just your special location with these "special rules", but that makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm closing this thread because it's obviously bullshit/nonsense.
