I just starting shooting dope and I just took a shot and I know I hit the vein cause i got the ringing ears, the high, etc... but i still got a few little blisters like i had missed the shot. Has anyone else ever taken a shot, knew you hit the vein, but still got blisters?

ya i have trouble keeping it still

I try to go really slanted so i dont go through the otherside

how long am i supposed to leave the syringe in after i shoot?

I have not heard of ringing ears being associated with shooting up heroin. It is common with IV crack/cocaine, but not with heroin.

You are not supposed to leave the syringe in after you shoot. I think that the poster above you meant that pulling out too fast may cause irritation to the injection site that caused the marks. Removing the syringe slowly after injection can minimize the risk of irritating the skin and leaving marks. I often get a small bump where I IV, but it slowly goes down within an hour. Steralizing the injection site before and after IV, and using any common antibiotic cream will greatly reduce the marks left behind.

Oh my god this topic has been covered so many times even I'm sick of people starting new threads about it - and ive only been injecting for a month!!

If you need help so badly you could have done a search - or even just look at the current thread titles - and found the answer you're looking for.

Several times.

Oh wait - DRUG ADDICTS!

Sigh, I have to keep reminding myself...
