I've got about half a bottle of
“Morphine Sulfate Oral Solution - 100mg per 5mL (20mg/mL)”

I did see a previous post about this product but it didn't address a question I have about it.
I'm interested in what would happen if someone were to try to IV it.

I've taken enough orally where I think I should've noticed something by now. I'm definitely not feeling the kind of feeling I'd get as if I'd have taken an equivalent amount in pill form.

The bottle was already opened when it made its way to my hands, so if one were to IV it, should one just boil it in a spoon or something first, since it was opened already. It's not syrupy just a plain normal viscosity blueish liquid which does taste the way an opiate should taste, & for how long should it be spoon-boiled prior to IV use?

I have nothing against drinking it. It just appears not to be too effective. I certainly don't want to overdo it, & I am definitely very opiate tolerant. But I feel I've taken (without measuring it) roughly >100mg equivalent, from what it looks like on the ‘mg per mL’ chart/instructions on the bottle itself.

Any suggestions on getting the most out of this potentially awesome find?

Again, I'm up for hearing what to do to IV it safely. (Being a pre-opened bottle, who knows how many ppl just stuck their fingers in there & licked)

Thx

I'm no expert on IV'ing drugs but as long as you keep the temperature below about 250 C the morphine should not decompose, but you will have to heat it for a good amount of time, again don't quote me on this but I've heard that a few minutes at around 125 Fahrenheit is enough to kill most. A much safer alternative to IV'ing would be to plug it, which basically consists of injecting the solution into your rectum by using a syringe without the needle, and this will give a rush that's comparable to IV but will be much safer. Lastly, if the solution does not have any adulterants in it you could attempt to dry the entire solution and then insufflate the dry mass that remains, and this is also safer than IV'ing. I recommend being very careful with all of these methods, as they will hit you faster than oral, and morphine has a much higher bioavailability through non-oral routes, so it would be very prudent to start with a dosage that is 30-45% of your oral dosage and then work your way up if necessary.

^really? You can just IV solutions meant for oral ROA? I guess I'm assuming there has to be some flavoring in there, or a preservative at least, that you'd wanna keep out of your veins. Especially taking into account that the bottle had been opened. God knows what was taken out and/or replaced. I'd plug it.

I said nowhere to inject this....

Inactive Ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, FD&C Green No. 3, glycerin, purified water, raspberry cream flavor and sodium benzoate. The pH of the solution is adjusted with diluted hydrochloric acid, as needed.

I’d find out about those before tying to inject anything...

edetate disodium

This is what I'd be most worried about.

As you could in fact make yourself bleed out of places you never thought possible... like a bottle of non-toxic aspirin if you have to use too much.

among other things...
