Adderall is a brand name for a capsulized mixture of amphetamine salts. It is a stimulant, typically comprised of Amphetamine (speed) or its chiral stereoisomer version, meaning for the laymen that it differs slightly in three dimensional space, and mixed with D-Amphetamine - Amphetamine's rough mirror that does for the most part the same thing.

Now, that's very basic stuff. You probably already knew about that but your question is very vague. Effects wise, (and since this is BDD, I'm not going to get into its mechanism of action) amphetamine generally boosts focus, energy, creativity in some people, can induce a mild to moderate sense of euphoria and is used for treatment of ADHD, sometimes ADD and OCD medicinally, and non-medicinally it is typically used to get shit done or for the euphoric feelings. Side effects commonly include loss of appetite, being extremely talkative or "hyper". Long, extended, excessive use can cause headaches, psychosis and hallucinations, but you have to really abuse it for that to happen so it's not something to be worried about. The drug lacks any real sort of physical dependency for most people but can be mentally addicting. There is a rush to the drug. There is almost always a crash as well and that is why I no longer take it and don't care for it. They were so horrible for me unless I had opiates to come down with that I decided it was not in my best interest, though that's just my experience. There are multiple methods of taking the drug.

Amphetemines are incredibly euphoric. Mild to moderate don't do it justice.

TL;DR version: it's kind of like a way more passive, way more productive coke that lasts hours and doesn't leave you feeling like you just wasted x hundred bucks on a 45 minute high.

I'd also say that amphetamines are very different than cocaine in almost every-way, in a good way.

Hey man, subjective experiences. I never got "incredible euphoria" from Adderall, Vyvanse or straight amphetamine. Productivity, yes. Euphoria level never exceeded that of something like alcohol's euphoria level for me, to be honest. Not talking about other effects but simply the euphoric intensity.

And yeah, they're different than coke but he mentioned in another thread that he loved coke but it was too expensive, so it was the best comparison to bring up. If it need be explained more, no you will not get "I'M KING OF THE FUCKING WORLD" from amphetamines like cocaine, but they have similarities (at least for me, pretty prominent similarities at the core level of the experience) but one of them is just a waste. You obviously know the differences. At any rate, stims seem to work differently for everyone. Someone else stated in the other thread OP posted that Adderall will make you "pursue doing things even if you have nothing to do" (paraphrased). While productivity definitely goes up, I've NEVER had that happen to me. I could easily just sit there on amphetamines and do nothing.

Funny becuase I experienced this from amphetamines as well.

Talking about subjective experiences, I guess I'll post mine from another thread. Maybe the OP can gain some insight to what is possible.

1.) What was your very first dosage of Adderall?

20mgs, Barr generic.

2.) What was your route of administration?

Oral, obviously.

3.) How did it make you feel?

Fucking incredible! I felt extremely confident. I felt like I was the best and that nothing could stop me. The world was mine and it was perfect. Music sounded absolutely glorious! Especially; Trance, Hardtrance, Hardsyle and D'n'B. I also felt extremely euphoric, from the very center of my limbic system to the tip of my toes. On top of all of that, I had ridiculous amounts of motivation. I wanted to take on new things that I never thought of or wanted to. I not only wanted to be everyones friend, but I had this extremely weird sense that I loved everyone, like I was connected in some way. I could've even forgiven my "enemies". Last but not least, I talked non-stop, trying to "dissect" everything that this world had to offer. It was just a small slice of heaven if you ask me.

4.) Did you enjoy it?

5.) Did you have the need to redose at any time during the day?

Not at all. It lasted from late morning till about night.

I have achieved the greatest pleasure of my entire life from Adderall but sometimes it is like the stars have to align for it to happen like that. It is a little less reliably euphoric than cocaine but when you get it, it will last you many hours.

I don't know man. I mean it's obvious that others really get off on it but I never did too much (and certainly never had music sound any different, though I did produce an IDM/Ambient record with relative ease while on it thanks to the productivity thing). 25mg oral administration, tried just swallowing it (many times), crushing it up and swallowing it (many times), crushing it up and parachuting it (many times), parachuting it without crushing it up (many times). Tried both instant and extended release. There was some euphoria but it wasn't anything incredible, for me at least, though unlike cocaine it does last for hours which is the biggest plus. Longest duration for me ever was ~6 hours. I don't know what the average reaction is. I also crashed harder than most people probably as it became intolerable.

I did however feel the intense cocaine euphoria, so who knows.

However though, I have Pure O OCD and possibly some other shit on the bipolar spectrum and had (as it ceased when I reached adulthood, as it does with many) what we thought was Tourette's Syndrome though we're not sure, so considering brain chemisty YMMV obviously. Pretty much anyone here however well they enjoy adderall is going to tell you that it's worth a try, including me, but you've gotta find out for yourself how well it works for you. Maybe OP will/does enjoy it.

^have you tried eating a huge meal 1-2 hours before dosing and a trying to eat at the end of the experience? I know if you cut it too close it makes you nauseous. Eating at the end (if possible) will eliminate the crash entirely. I want to note that the first time I took extra it just kept me awake and made me paranoid. It took a while before I experience ultimate euphoria. It can be hit and miss. I was also prescribed it at the time so that may have influenced it. Your experience with cocaine vs. Adderall sounds like a normal one, cocaine having great euphoria more reliably, regardless of the supposed psychiatric bullshit.

Whenever I did it without eating beforehand I would only get discomfort/anxiety. If I ate a little it would be in between like you described.
