Misc Need help with pain management clinic

Right now I am prescribed roxy 30s and opana ER 30s for an infection in my spine (http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=543924), but the pain management Dr at the hospital wrote me a 1 month supply and told me to follow up with my family doctor, and have him refer me to a pain management doctor. The problem with this is that he HATES giving out narcotics, especially to me. He just found out that I was using dope when he came to see me at the hospital, and right away he told me he was switching me from adderall to fucking stratera. GREAT, there goes my next semester of college. I told him that I never in my life abused adderall and that I wouldn't even want to, but he said, "It doesn't matter, it CAN be abused". I was like WTFFF? Stratera, REALLY??? Might as well give me a sugar pill. For real though, a caffeine pill would definitely be more effective for me than a damn stratera, that's forsure! Anyway, enough of getting sidetracked. What can I do BESIDES see my family doctor to get a referral to a pain clinic? There's an Urgent Care across the street from my house, idk if you guys know what those are or not, but it's like a mini hospital kind of where they normally take care of minor things, like give meds for bronchitis and stuff like that. Would they maybe be able to refer me? Once this month supply runs out, I'm gonna be SCREWED because i will be withdrawing hardcore AND in moderate-severe pain. That is just a recipe for me to go back to being a daily heroin user, which is NOT what I want!

change your primary care doctor to someone who is more understanding

I seriously doubt an urgent care clinic is going to be able to (or want to) give you a referral to a pain clinic.
