For the last month I have been using opiates in pretty good doses. 4-5 100mcg fentanyl patches (taken bucally), Hydrocodone average 50mgs each time (5-6 times) and I have been iv'ing hydromorphone for the last week (8mgs 2-3x a day). I know 1 month of taking opiates, the withdrawal should be mild but I'm kinda worrying bc when I stopped suboxone, I felt like absolute shit for for 1 month and didn't get back to "normal" until the 3-4 month mark( i was cut off from 8mg cold turkey after 1 year of sub maintenance).

And 1 more question, can you shoot 350mg soma? Not all at once, just a quarter.

its shockinh how long sub WD appears to be. Why doctors dosent inform about it? After reading dozens of experiences on the net, i took off subuzone some days ago. if me never on methadone, because i dont like long WDs, why to do subuxone? crazy.
That 4 months you mentione it sounds like hell to me

about your question, no, it wont be so long. But fentanyl WD should not be a joke. I have taken fentanyl , but never too much to WD. By looking at the effects: faster than H, faster coming the buzz, faster leaving the effect, i bet the WD may be Shorter than the H and Strongest . I suggest you using a minor opiate some days before jumping. Like codeine , tappering. So, the fentanyl will be like "10 days and not 2 out of your body" ( probably bad expresated, hope you get the idea), so WD will be softer than jumping if yesterday and/or thursday you did fentanyl
edit: i found the words: you should cover the first WD fentanyl days with codeine. Then, after some 3-6 days, you can jump off. It will be hard this way but not as harder as if you jump without covering the fentanyl). post-edit: not everybody process codeine to morphine so it may not be useful

So, dont expect a soft WD, but at least it will be like a classic WD imo, in the way that not so crazily long

Sorry for my english, its not enough to expresate myself on this kind of topics. What a life we have chosen, isnt it?

ps: other option, doing subuxone when you start to WD but just 2 weeks, and tappering since the second day, thats what im going to do next time i have to face with a WD ( yeah my idea is not to take more oppies so no more WDs, but i sadly know myself)

It won't be as prolonged at the bupe withdrawal (especially the PAWS) but the severity of symptoms will be greater. The trade off between full opiate withdrawal and bupe withdrawal, is on the one hand you have more severe symptoms for a shorter period of time, or more mild withdrawal that lasts for a longer period.

Are you planning on stopping cold turkey?

I have five Dilaudid 4mg pills and 5-6 somas. I have a big math test monday and I need to do good. Shoul I jsut stop on Tuesday c/t. I might be able to get ativan or another fent patch (not likely tho).
