Hi, Im very new to the forum thing but I need answers and this seems like the best place... ok so I have been taking roxis for about 2 yrs now. I dont take enough to get high, just enought to handle my back pain... I split a 30mg into 4 pieces and take a quarter piece (7.5mg) every 3-5 hrs... so roughly no more than 2 pills a day spaced out. Well, I just found out Im 6wks pregnant so needless to say I have to quit... and im wondering how bad the withdrawls will be and what theyre like for someone who does so little of the medication. I dont have a script so i dont have a dr to ask about this and whatnot... n ive read some threads about withdrawl from roxis but everyone ive seen were ppl who are doing alot per day and on each dose... im hoping since my amounts are lower that the withdrawls will be lower or less severe. So can you guys please help me with this? Id really appreciate it!!!:)

They won't be terrible, but it won't be fun. You could probably taper a little lower too. I think you need to talk to a doc though. I'm have no experience with withdrawal and pregnancy. I've heard it can be dangerous to the fetus. Be careful and good luck.

You are on a very low dose, so the withdrawals will not be terrible.. of course, you're still going to feel like shit but it shouldn't be debilitating. At that level of dosage, I'd just recommend using OTC meds to combat whatever symptoms you have. Within a week the majority of the pain should be over.

Keep in mind, tapering to as low of a dose as possible is always going to help make the withdrawals lighter, so that's an option too.

Thanks you guys!

Which OTC would you reccomend? my longest break from roxis has only been like 16hrs and the restless legs n cold chills were horrible

Oh, and the mental part of it was eating me alive smh... all i could think about is when my supplier was going to show up. which i think is just crazy considering i dont get high. I thought since i took so little that i wouldnt have to worry about the mental part of withdrawls but i guess i was wrong.

Stop , you can't just take any OTC meds when you are prego , you have to be extremely careful. You really need to talk to a doctor. They aren't going to get you arrested for taking pills without a script , but you have to be honest and careful. Your own life is something you can control , but the baby inside you has zero control over Anything right now , and looks to you for every decision that's made to be the right one. That won't be easy. But you have to try to make the best decisions you can because you are responsible for two people now.

My best advice is just go through the withdrawl and suck it up, think of it like pre child birth to get yourself ready for how painful that is gonna be , followed by the best feeling in your entire life. I am at 40 hours pill free from a habit 6 times what you were doing and I'm just trying to keep my mind straight and thinking positively , and its working so far. You can do this, have no doubt... Good luck

Actually going through full on withdrawal while pregnant is not recommended because of the stress caused on the fetus.

Talking to your doctor is definitely a good idea being that you are trying to detox while pregnant.
