Cocaine need help with cocaine w/d information/experience

I am writing a short story in which one of my characters is a coke addict and withheld from it for a few days. While I've used it in the past I have very little info about cocaine withdrawal other than what I've read. In order to get into my characters head I need to understand both the physical and mental w/d symptoms. What kind of thoughts run thru ur head? How does ur body feel? Please feel free to share ur experience... the more information the better!!!

If uve read my other recent post u know I'm writing a new story. One of my characters is a crystal addict. She will be unable to use her DOC for a few days. I've never used meth but understand it to be a complex drug. I need to be able to realistically portray both the mental and physical w/d symptoms. Plz share ur personal experience with me. I find that much more beneficial than just searching the net. Nothing could explain the hell of opiate w/d unless uve been there so I would be very grateful to have some more practical and real info!!

Well don't forget the part where you get every single piece of your cocaine paraphinalia out including like 10 empty bottles that had at one time been holding cocaine. Now you get all hyper trying to extract all the miniscule crumbs of cocaine there are which is not very much. Oh and the coke grinder too, get that thing out & begin poking at the screen with a small pin to scrape all the dust out from off it. Then you wind up with a small mirror with what looks to be a small amount of cocaine on it, but it is mostly the cut that used to be in the cocaine, cause G-d is cruel when ya run out. Now all the sudden you need to begin chain smoking cause something is gonna hafta get ya high...

Ty...so say the character wasn't able to get access to these things...would he be obsessively thinking about it?
 
Your body feels fine its your mind that races and wants to get high cocaine withdrawal is all mental its not physical like heroin is. I remember when I would stop coke I would twitch a bit, tweaking behaviour such as looking through your pockets looking for something that isn't there and just feeling like I want to tear my hair out by its roots cause I get so dam depressed this lasts only a little while though. Most coke addicts are just really sleepy after tweaking around for a few hours they just fall asleep and stay in bed for days catching up on sleep. If they try to function in society they may be really aggressive and get easily irritated mouthing people off and whatnot or they may just keep to them selves and walk around like a zombie not wanting to talk to anybody.
