i went to the hospital to see an immunologist about my allergies & I was asked what drugs i take. I dont know why but I told her about Ive been drinking 400mg of codeine twice a day &/or taking oxycontin in large doses. sometimes up to 160mg.
anyways she was concerned & got me to do a blood test to see my liver function. It came out pretty bad with all my enzymes to high or something like that. She told me i NEED to stop doing cwe straight away & go to my GP to get another blood test for hep c (she asked me if ive IVed & the liver enzymes look like it could be hep C but I havnt shared rigs before so this should come up negative) & to further see how bad my liver through my dr.
ofcourse i said i dont wanna see my dr cuz he'll never prescribe me a benzo or pain killer again so I said I would see a new dr which I did. I got the blood test done & waiting for the results.
anyways Ive still be using. I did cwe twice more since than & had 120mg oxy last night. ive had 32mg of subutex today & I have 16mg left for tomorrow which were given to me by a friend but he cant give me any more.
I think the subutex works really well & would like to take it for a week or so as ive been doing opiates a long time now & I suffer from GAD, depression & psychotic symptoms which makes me wanna use more. (I take antipsychotics)
anyways. I was just wondering how I would go about getting some subs.
i rang the after hrs hotline & they told me to go to ring the ER or go there. I than ran out of credit on my ph so I couldnt call the hospital & was just wondering if it would even be worth going to the ER.
Would they give me subs or hook me up with an organization that will?
Is there generally a waiting list to get on subs?
if i have to I'll have my last 16mg tomorrow & just quit taking opiates till or if my liver gets better. I suspect it's mostly due to soluble apap. Im just thinking why do things the hard way when it would be easier to take 8mg os subutex for a week or so than ween off.
btw i forgot i also take over 100mg of diazepam or 200mg of temazepam fairly often. Could this also be what's damaging my liver?
im still thinking it's the soluble apap as I have to use 80 tablets a day. So I use about 200mL of water a day. So whatevers soluble in that after its been in the freezer for 20 mins.
any ideas how much apap a day that would be?
doesnt matter using even 1g a day over time could damage my liver.
hmmm maybe the codeine itself isnt to good for my liver.... & the oxy. i remember I had 120mg & 5 hr later felt like throwing up so it couldnt be healthy. I had some meth to which is way out of character for me. I dont drink anymore which is good & ive been told I cant drink anyway now.
hope I find out whats causing harm. I don't think it could be the antipsychotics...
so if anyone has any ideas whats doing me harm that would be much appreciated.
