Need help talking to the neighbors!

Definitely don't suck up anything. This is America you guys, if some tweakers are keeping up you and your lady, I would not tolerate that bullshit.

Of course I'd try to be nice at first, but I know how tweakers are and eventually probably would have to play hardball with them haha, so to speak. But this is easy because tweakers are already a delusional, paranoid bunch.
 
Then, when you know they're sleeping.... get a big pot with a lid, and drop a roll of 1k firecrackers in it outside of their window/in front of their door. ;)

But seriously man, don't just lay down and take it. Man up and do something about it. But try to meet on a common ground first. Don't go over there being a complete dick right from the get-go. Just go talk to them. Even though they ARE tweakers, they're people, too... Be nice, don't be a dick, and who knows, maybe shit will be OKAY.
 
I would just go talk to them like you would anyone else causing noise. I'm surprised at all the negativity towards tweakers. Sure, they can be delusional and paranoid, but it's really only the minority that would get violent over bullshit like this. I know that when I was heavy into meth if i was approached by a neighbour complaining of noise I'd just try and keep it down, regardless of whatever batshit crazy stuff was going through my head. I was already the type to be paranoid about my noise level when high, so it'd probably put me into ubersilent mode.
 
agreed 100 percent with the last two posts. do you REALLY think they'd attack or kill you? really? sounds like you're the paranoid one. -.-
 
ubersilent mode is one step below ninja mode.

Something I forgot to ask earlier though..... OP, why are you afraid to just simply talk to them, like an adult?
 
thanks for all the help guys and its not like im being a dick to them or anything I just wanted a little advise as to how to deal with a problem i have never encountered before. I am going to just be watchful and see how the next few days plays out. I do agree with tricomb that if they have no shame about smoking outside on the first day, wait until they REALLY get comfortable. the reason why im not going over there and talking to them like adults is for the reasons that have been listed, there seems to be to many variables in that situation. im going to just say hi in passing and try to make them know that im a nice guy and not just some jerk and we'll see what happens then.

and about how i know, i am assuming on somelevel but they were hitting the pipe all night long and it just smelled like a mixture of chemicals but slightly like the smell of burning plastic but not quite. ive been around a few people smoking meth a few times and it definitely has a distinct smell imo

wha??? the only glass I've ever tapped was a glass WEED bowl to get the crap out of it...I sure don't go tapping my bub pips on anything, cuz they'd break...

And what the hell ever happened to being straight forward and honest? First of all, take the drugs out of the equation, because unless you have physically seen them drop a shard of something into a glass pip and smoke it right in front of you, you really don't actually KNOW what they're doing. Making assumptions makes an ass out of...you know the rest.
Why don't you politely knock on their door, introduce yourself, kindly say that you and your woman work early morning jobs and if they could make a tiny effort to keep the noise down a few notches from 10pm-7am. Sounds pretty logical and easy to me...
 
If you talk to them, do it during the day when they are hopefully not tweeking. Now if you choose to speak with them about this, then note that if you ever make an "anonymous" call to the police about them, they are going to think/know it was you.

I would go with "dude, I don't care what you do on your spare time, but can you do whatever it is you are doing inside and/or in a manner that won't disturb my sleep? Some of us actually need to sleep since we are not smoking methamphetamine which, due to it's half-life of 9-12 hours can keep one up for quite some time, and considering your highly effiicient yet fiendy ROA which has a bioavailability of 90.3%, it is no surprise that you are effected in this way by it. However, I would like to suggest rectal administration of the drug, which has an even higher BA of 99%, which is second only to IV, which from a harm reduction and love thy neighbor standpoint I cannot recommend. So please consider plugging your meth. You will get higher, and I won't have to hear you tapping your glass piece all night. Win/Win, eh! What do you say?"

I am so fucking sick of people making sweeping generalizations about certain types of drug users, especially methamphetamine. I don't run around this forum and harp on the heroin/opiate users and say that they're lazy, slow, broke, begging scum of society. I don't tell the people who smoke weed that they're dumb, fat, lazy, slow and eat too much. I don't tell the mushroom heads or acid users that they should hop out of the 60's and get with the current times...Mostly because first of all, I don't think any of that. Second, it's none of my god damn business to judge anyone and the choices that they make until they directly effect me. This website is supposed to be a Harm Reduction website, not a Let's Judge our Fellow Drug Users website.

Now, I am fully aware that there are definitely some methamphetamine users that certainly fit the stereotype. They steal, lie, are paranoid, delusional and what have you. HOWEVER - it is ignorant and plain rude to make sweeping generalizations saying that "tweakers are already a delusional, paranoid bunch..." Um, last time I checked, I'm not delusional or paranoid any more than the next sober person sitting next to me. I don't rob anyone, I never have and I never will. I don't bother my neighbors, hell, I'm probably more quiet than I would be if I wasn't using.

The way people act and the morals they have aren't a direct result of a drug. Perhaps attitudes, morals and behaviours are modified, or better yet, intensified by some drugs, yes, especially meth. If you were paranoid to begin with, it'll probably perpetuate that feeling. For me, smoking pot makes me a million times more paranoid than being high on speed. If a tweaker is a lying, stealing asshole, they were probably a liar and a robber and an asshole to begin with - maybe they never had stolen anything before they started using, but if they can reach down deep enough and think it's okay to do that, they had it in 'em before they started using the drug.


Blah blah blah, right? Just another craaaaaaaaaaaazy tweaker bitch, right? Think what you will. Nobody is any better than any of those 'paranoid delusional tweakers.' If you think you are better, you're the delusional one.

Dude he's already indicated that they've been doing this a few nights in a row, if you dont sleep for days your going to get paranoid and irrational. Add meth to that, and you got yourself a delusional mother fucker.

Does rectal admin. really have 99% BA though Tommy? I don't see how...
