Stats- 19 years old, 200lbs, 6ft tall, 14% body fat. Once I reached the 200lb mark I was considering using AAS or PH. However, after joining several forums I took the advice of the moderators/vets to not cycle until I was 24 and have completely maxed out my genetic potential. However, in the meantime I want to use the most effective alternative supplements. I have been looking into things such as insulin shots. Not sure the best route to go. I already know about basic supps such as creatine, whey, mass gainers, N.O... Looking for something to use more hardcore than these. What are considered the best products out there? Not going to waste my money on something that isn't worth it.

How long you been lifting?
I also think you can pack on a bit more weight possibly. I'm 5' 7" on a good day and can hit 170 with about 6 months of solid training and dieting. About the same bf as you as well. You're 5 inches taller than me, so I think you could add a bit more on. I read somewhere about natty test production peaking somewhere in early to mid twenties so you still got 5 years to tinker around and get everything dialed in. I know 5 years seems like a long time. We do have a younger member who's on a cycle currently (I believe he's 20?) So I feel nolys will be better suited to guide you than I as I am on hiatus right now and am waiting til this winter to start a cycle (money and age issues I'm only 22). Gonna train natty til november-december ish then hop on a basic test cycle. Maybe you could look into peptides first before beginning a cycle. Spend this "idle time" researching your future cycle, get all the info you can on your future diet, your workout routine, proper pct, research your sources, and get your finances in order. Training natty is expensive as is with food and supplements, throw in the cost of your gear and pct AND additional food for the cycle and your looking at some dinero.
You have done very well though if I might say so myself though. Good job coming here and doing some reading on your own and respecting the age limit views. It comes down to this with us young guys: instant gratification vs. Long term success. Get big now, short changing your gains and potentially end up on trt, or wait, get bigger, and not fuck your Hpta up.

Rather than looking at what may or may not assist you in obtaining your "genetic potential", you might want to consider what might stop you reaching it.
Or worse still what might negate the gains you've already got.
At 19 and 200lbs you're not doing too bad already, it would be a shame if some short-cut now negated all the hard work you've all ready put in.

I don't believe there is anything out there apart from creatine mono, a bit of whey protein that will benefit you more than eating well, training hard with adequate rest..
N.O. being a hormone and neurotransmitter, or insulin a regulator of blood glucose, you mess about with blood glucose levels you interfere with hGH and IGF It would be unwise to consider any compound that would effect your body's regulatory mechanism of homoeostasis before it reaches some element of post pubescent set-point (if indeed it does)..

Here's an article with some relevance to your long term genetic potential...

I agree with everything genetic freak and also serotonin said.

I'm 20 years of age, nearly 21 and am currently on my first cycle (note I said ON and not post cycle), so far I have experianced no negative side effects to speak of apart from a few back pimples.

Now the thing is, I have no idea what's going to happen when this cycle comes to an end, I could have some recovery problems, I could have possibly fucked my HPTA up severely, I just don't know yet but it was a risk that I was happy (probably stupid) to take. Another thing that led me to believe I was eligeable for a cycle was the fact that my pubertal growth had either stopped to a complete halt or had slowed down to a crawl, by this I mean my bones and body structure in my eyes had stopped developing around the age of 17-18, so imo no risk of early fusing of the growth plates.

In all complete honestly, saying this from an ON cycle view, and having no experiance with PCT or recovery (which could go horribly wrong for all I know), I regret nothing. One of the best decisions I have made in my life to be honest.

If you do decide to take your training to the next level, which I (hypocritically) think you shouldn't, then a cycle of testosterone @ 500mg a week and nothing more should suffice. Insulin is incredibly dangerous for somebody who doesn't know what they are doing and is best left to the pros, the first step towards the world of serious lifting is testosterone and nothing else. Fuck the prohormones and oral only cycles, read about and you will learn that these are stupid, along with cycling at such a young age I suppose lol

If you do plan on going ahead with advancing towards more serious ways of shaping your body then please do as much research and find out as much as you possibly can before putting a needle anywhere near your body. This choice is probably best left for another 2-3 years or so.

If you plan on staying all natural for the moment then as GF said, diet, training, protein and creatine are the ONLY supplements worth buying. 99% of everything else is bullshit.

This is my viewpoint, and applys to me and only me, everyone else is different especielly seeing as that I was most developed out of 300 people in my school year throughout the whole course of the time I was there. You will most likely be different.

Another thing, before steroids, drop your BF from 14% to 10% if possible.
Your doing well at the minute mate, keep up the good work
