I found loads of info but it only refers to reusable vials. I have a breakable glass ampule and I can't find a protocol for preping my shot with one of them.
What I've figured out so far is this:

1. Break ampule with clean cloth facing away from my body.

2. (now is when I get lost.) Should I throw the cotton ball into the glass ampule? Should I throw the liquid from the ampule into another container where I can more comfortably absorb them with the needle? How Am I supposed to get the liquid filtered without a filter needle???

3. roll a qtip into a tiny cotton ball and use it for filtering any glass particles left in liquid.
4. Change the needle for a new one. (I probably wont do this either)
5. Clean injection site.
6. Pinch fat, inject into 90º angle.
7. lay back and enjoy the crappy meds you've gotten hold of.

Are the rest of the steps alright? This is a subQ shot, should I let the pinch go before or after I pull out the needle? Am I missing something?

I have ampules. I read a couple of body builder steroid junkies websites (they get a lot of subQ shots) and apparently people don't use filters at all. I ended up doing it without any filters and so far, so good. I did my shot without a filter, but I know it's wrong. What do you think is worst? using no filter at all or using Qtips as filters (I'm talking pharm grade ampules)? Also, when drawing liquid from the ampule, should I put the ampule head down, or force the needle in? head down, I'm guessing.

They are for injection. But what about glass particles left from breaking the ampule? I know it's a long shot but a little bit of glass could get into the syringe, right?

What's going on in this thread, I don't understand why a liquid solution would be stored in a glass vial that can only be opened by behind shattered. What drug is it you are using?

Have you ever seen an ampoule before? You literally do have to break off a piece of glass, they sort of look like bowling pins.
