Opioids Need help, please!

First off, I've read a lot of the suboxone/oxy threads and they mostly didn't really help like I wish they did. I figured I'd just post my question(s) myself..

I was taking A LOT of oxycodone last year, but back in February '13 I decided to stop, and started going to this clinic once every two weeks for suboxone. I get urine tested every visit.
So now, I've been on 8mg suboxone films for almost 5 months. But yesterday I came across some oxycodone I had lost a while ago, and decided to try it, but only after waiting 36 hours since my last sub. I feel it a little bit, but how long til I actually feel it like I should?

Another thing is, I've been reading a lot about precipitated withdrawal, but was not totally sure what it means. But, tomorrow (June 8th) is the last day I plan on trying to see if these oxys will work, since they take 3-4 days to not show up in a urine test which I have to take on Monday the 17th. So I'm wondering when is it safe to take the suboxone again without going through PW's?

If you're taking oxycodone IR, you theoretically should be feeling it after one or two depending on your opiate tolerance. I don't think the naloxone is going to be making a significant difference at the dosage and time frame you last took it, so I'd say you're either more tolerant to opiates than you think, or the oxy is extended release which would account for not feeling a "buzz."

Thanks... also any advice about how long I should wait to take the suboxone? And also, do you think the oxys will show up if I have a urine test on the 17th of June? Most sites say it only lasts in urine 3-4 days. But I figured I'd ask you guys anyway.

With 9 days to spare between, I'm pretty sure you'll be good for your urine test. I'd say just wait like 12-24 hrs before your suboxone dose after taking the last oxy (12 hrs if it's IR is what I would do). If it's oxycontin brand, OP, OC, whatever the hell variation and you're not crushing it, I'd wait 24 hrs. That should be fine. If they're IR and you're trying to get a buzz, though, I'd say just take 60mg instead of taking 30, waiting a couple hours for it to, as you said, "feel like an oxy," considering you already have an opiate tolerance and sound aware of your limits. Still, be careful and make sure you don't overdo it.
