Need help on dosage and setting for shrooms

Hello, it is my first time taking shrooms. I have tripped on 2 tabs of acid one time, and plan to trip on 2.25-2.75g of shrooms. Recently, I have been in a relatively dark time in my life, after my parents caught me smoking weed. I have begun to become happier, but still have light depression. I am nervous but excited to do shrooms, because I don't want to have a bad trip. Does anyone have advice on how to improve my chances of a good trip?
