Need help on choosing 2 strains

Hey guys,

Well Im starting to plan my grow for 2010/2011 over here in Australia, growing outdoors.

Basically im only going to grow 2 plants, 2 different strains in the ground and hoping to pull at least a pound off each.

I want to grow 1 pure sativa and 1 pure indica.

Im pretty certain i'll grow a Haze of some type, being pure Sativa. There are way to many type's out there to choose from though that all seem soo appealing.

Not really sure about the Indica's, ive been thinking maybe a Hash Plant, or a Kush of some type..

Would like some opinions of the strongest Indica and Sativa that you guys have ever tryed/grown. If your going to reccomend a strain, make sure your 110% sure that what you had was actually that strain.. Not just going by what your dealer say's it was, because everyone knows that's a selling gimmick.

Sativa - Kali Mist. my favourite strain ive ever smoked. as far as i know its basically pure sativa.
verrrrrrrrry psychedelic and "summery" high.


Indica - Afghan Kush. strong as FUCK and very trippy. smoke too much though and you'll be freakin out, it really is that strong.



but this is your grow, what specific features are you looking for?

ie taste, high, budding power/flower size, etc etc
 
Are you going to go with a pure Sativa and pure Indica or hybrids that are Sativa and Indica dominant? That would be a lot easier, particularly with the Sativa dominant.

Kali Mist is one of my favourite strains of all time Sega, it is available here in Australia if you are in the know.

Ah yes, that reminds me of hearing plenty good things about Kali Mist, seem to have forgotten about her.

AK sounds nice aswell, will look into both these.

I love vigouros growing plants, low maintence is always a + when guerilla growing and bug/pest resistant is good aswell.

As for the smoke, Anything with a smooth smoke is good in my book's. Not overly fussed about the taste, as I will smoke just about anything and considering the weed around here is all commercial, and nearly all the same shit anything I grow is going to taste alot better then it.

Decent/high yeilder's are also a plus. Anything grown outdoors here, in decent soil, with decent nutes will generally get pretty big and will yeild alot.

Might add these plants will veg for about 5-6 months before flowering, so there gonna be quite massive regardless.

Hey VB, would prefer 1 pure Sativa and 1 pure Indica but I know plenty of top quality strains are hybrids.

I want a stash of 2 kinds, extreme stony buzz and extreme head buzz.

What do you guys think about Trainwreck? Heard so many good reports about it regarding the stone.

Has won the cup 2 years in a row now. Farely keen on her, ive tryed a couple strains from Greenhouse before and they were the strongest 2 smokes ive ever had.

Mmm that Afghan Kush does sound very nice and appealing, i'll have to read abit about it after I post.

Good indicas - northern lights, g13, sensi star, sativas are fun but if i wanted to get blazed on pure sativa id go smoke some sexy mexy

After doing a search on Kali Mist and reading outstanding reviews on it, im am sold on it;)

Looks like Kali Mist and Afghan Kush are the go this season!
 
blue or black berry is some heavy yielding OD indica thats a joy to smoke. i like the blackberry more, the blue just knocks me out, if grown out the suggested time, which is like 50-60 days, there is the dj short(original) bc, and i think sensi has one.

everyone seems to love cinderella, idk how she does OD, but its an outstanding indica, that finishes fast with a good yield of potent potent stuff. there are a lot of hybrids out there, surely some 90-100% indica versions.

im cloning mine out now, (durban x thai) x c99, very rapid rooter! she must regrow well, all the dj short strains seem to regrow well, some are created with that in mind. they have IME.
