I don't know where to turn, I have recently developed an oxy addiction, and want to get off of it for good..I got in a bad motorcycle accident recently and that's why I've been taking it, but since I don't have health insurance, I don't have the ability to speak with a doctor to get a prescription to suboxone. I actually need this drug for 2 reasons, one for the opiate dependency, and also because buprenorphine is a k-opioid receptor antagonist, and I've been suffering from an intense psychosis due to k-opioid receptor agonists, and after speaking with a friend who went through the exact same crisis as me, he told me that suboxone has completely changed his life and "cleared his mind from a psychosis cloud" ever since he took it about 6 months ago (he doesn't take it anymore but claims it had permanent effects that helped him out).

I really have nowhere to go to find this stuff, and I'm in dire need to obtain it..oxycodone is destroying my mind and it's turned me into a complete ass hole to everyone around me. :( I just want this to stop and get my life back. If anyone could please message me with help or point me in the right direction, I would be beyond grateful..please let me know what I should do, thank you.

Sorry but we can't tell you how to get drugs on here, it's against the rules, i do believe there are clinics you can go to for suboxone that are cheaper than seeing a doctor.

I've checked out that site, there's absolutely no useful information on there, but thanks anyway. Also, there aren't any clinics around here that I can go to without paying an absolutely insane fee, if you know of any that are cheap, please let me know. I'm located in the DFW area of Texas.

" suffering from an intense psychosis due to k-opioid receptor agonists"

Can you expand on this ? Cause ? Diagnosis ? Symptoms ?
I assume you are in the states so it would all be different, But sub should be easy for you to get on.
Sorry to hear about your off, dude

When I was 17 and 18, I used Salvia and DXM like a typical dumb ass teenager would, and it triggered a very intense reaction in my brain, causing a schizophrenic-like change in my thinking patterns (derealization). I theorize it's because of the k-opioid receptor agonism that both drugs cause, and I noticed the change in the way I think ever since (along with the way my brain encodes and forms new memories). I just want my sanity back, nothing has worked..nootropics have temporarily masked the symptoms, but as soon as I get off of them, the derealization comes back..and it's actually been noticeably worse over the past couple of months. I have absolutely no access to a physician, I've been on a waiting list for the past 6 months, and I have no idea how much longer I'll be on this list before I actually get a chance to speak with a psychiatrist. The medical system here in the United States absolutely SUCKS and every doctor I talk to just tries to put me on mind-numbing drugs like anti-psychotics and SSRI's. I don't want that crap, I know what I need, but I can't get a doctor that actually listens to me, apparently they know how my mind works better than I do :|

Talk to the doctor who prescribes you oxy for pain, and ask him to give you the buprenorphine patch, or the buprenex injectable solution (you don't have to inject it in your veins, you can still take it sublingually, or plug or IM), subutex might be an option too. This way you'll still get buprenorphine (the active ingredient in suboxone) without having to see a suboxone doctor.

There are also Suboxone programs for low income patients, where you get prescriptions for free, or very cheap. In fact I think I heard about it on this site...

You don't need insurance to get suboxone.. in fact, most doctors won't even accept insurance.

Dude what do you think we are gonna be able to do for you? I mean for real... how can you get suboxone without seeing a doctor? Either you buy it legally or illegally..

Also where is the emergency makes this deserve it's own thread?

Still, you're going to require a full psych work-up given your symptoms. Any psych that you see is going to prescribe some sort of medication, but Suboxone is a medication, too. Why are you willing to make the exception?

Like I said above, the OP might be able to get the doctor who prescribed him the oxy to switch him to subutex, buprenex, or buprenorphine patches for pain, which would be just the same as being on suboxone (it's all buprenorphine).
