Need Help. I took 80mg oxy after one day of taking 5.5 2mg tablets of suboxone, more like 14 hrs after my last dose. am i all good to sleep?

i also took a small amount of valium at work during the day maybe like 5-6mg but did not reside suboxone since sunday 3:30am it is now 9:51 monday,

i haven’t taken any more valium and finished taking oxy around 9pm. the oxy was taken from 4pm-9pm spread out over that timeline. im feeling kinda nauseous but just want to make sure its okay to go to sleep or should i call emergency?

any help greatly appreciated

If you are awake and typing, you're more than likely going to be just fine. Buprenorphine is likely to blunt the most potent effects of the Oxycodone anyway. You should have nothing to worry about.

That isn’t going to do anything for u. The subs will fill all your receptors and block all that oxy. I apologize but your 80 is going to be wasted

I think it worth noting that when prescribed for pain, buprenorpine is generally prescribed [TID]. It's been noted that figures for the elimination half-life vary hugely and my hypothesis is that buprenorphine is highly protein-bound so the range MAY be explained by some researchers testing the acute (single dose) half-life while others are testing the chronic (large daily dose taken for weeks) half-life.

A bit like how methadone will tend to accumulate. Again, for pain it's usually taken [BID] or [TID] but in substitution therapy, a single large daily dose is consumed.

Just a hypothesis.

But at the end of the day, buprenorphine simply competes for MOR occupancy (as does methadone).
