Opioids need help i can find a vein but cant get it to register blood help asap

ive been poking myself for over 2 hrs im gettin pissed i can see my vein but can get blood when i pull back already fucked up once tonight with a bad shot can any1 help me asap?
 
Yeah peruse the mega thread, copious amounts of valuable information. What angle are you putting the needle in at? If you have the needle practically parallell to your skin, it makes it much easier to slide the needle into the vein and less likely to poke through the back.

Iving is a fine art, and can be tricky to get used to. Do you have any friends who IV that can show you step by step, or shoot you up for you? Once you get the hang of it though, its like riding a bike.
 
your probably best off to register into a rehab clinic, because poking yourself like that for that long is a form of self mutilation.

if i was to get high with iv admin, I would have someone with me to first off (especially if Ive never done it) do it for me. Or do it first so I can see the technique. Its kind of sad to hear you did that to yourself...I hope you get better, Dont hurt yourself, IV is safest way of using, but not if you dont know how to use properly.
 
i am new to shooting ive done it only 5 times i used to snort it im not getting the angle right i have some1 to do it for me but not tonite ive been snorting it today but it doesnt effect me as much
 
Sounds like you need someone to show and help you... It's not easy IMO ... Sounds like your going in too deep or too shallow...
 
I love these "emergency" threads with "help me now asap!!" added for extra drama.

If you REALLY wanted to IV successfully you would have done your homework and not wound up with an arm that looks like its been used as a voodoo doll.

As Amapola said, read the FAQ contained in the first page of the IV megathread. If you still can't get it right read it again, but this time REALLY read it and not just skim through it looking at the pictures.

And don't listen to Smokealot, it should be obvious from his name that IV isn't his first area of expertise. You don't need to have someone with you to get started, most people who IV learned all by themselves. We all also went through what you're going through now, which is the pain in the ass learning curve the first few weeks you do it.

Proper IV isn't that hard to master, but like riding a bike it takes a bit to find your balance. But being safe and careful comes above all else - you should NOT be in an "ASAP help now!!" frame of mind but a calm, cool and relaxed one because, unlike riding a bike, a band aid and helmet aren't going to save you if you fuck up.

Even experienced users have bad days - ive been at this for close to a year now and just the other day I must have poked my arm 10 times trying to register; some days it just happens. You just need to stay calm and work at finding out what the problem is.

If need be put the needle down, take a deep breath, have a wank and come back to it a minute later.

Do you really think this? With IV'ing there is a greater chance of infection, a greater chance of catching a disease (such as Hep C or HIV), a greater chance of overdose, and of course the risk of collapsed veins with heavy use. In my opinion it's the least safe way, even if you do know how to use properly! And it says in your profile that you work in health care, of all things! 8o

Your technique is fucked. Listed To John he gave you the best advice go read that faq atleast 2-3 time's befofe you try again. I can hit myself in one go if I already see my vein.
 
I found that shoving the needle in pretty fast works better. The vein kept rolling around when i went slow. So shove it in real quick, pull back the plunger and slide the whole syringe out till blood comes in. I just started recently and that's worked for me. And I've been using a dull ass needle that i've used like 30 times no joke. (Hard to get new needles when you are 16)
 
^ No it's not like I said in your other thread. You can buy syringes in your state otc without an ID check.

Yes I usually poke first to break the skin... then when i go to hit a vein i do a fast motion to pierce the vein... If you go to slow you might not actually pierce through..


also register and if you dont see a Steady Stream of blood comin it means your not fully in... You can register back and get blood but still miss it happens it me sometimes still... also right after injection put pressure on the site for 15 seconds afterwards really helps with vein care
 
did ya get it? lol. oh man i do NOT miss tryin to find a vein. got pretty bad at the end there. prob good i got popped cuz i dont no where i was gonna stick that rig lol. now i got me veins back and love when i get cuz its just too damn easy!!! but good luck loop, i no that shit sucks, cant explain how frustrating it can get.
