Hi. I'm trying to find out if anyone might know where I can find free help for opiate addiction in the Orlando, Florida area. I've been hooked on Oxycodone on and off for about 5 years now and have never gotten professional help to beat my addiction. I know if I don't find help I'll probably never beat this addiction. I don't have any money or health insurance so I really need to find a facility that is free. All the places I've found are not free or they are pro-rated based on your health insurance or income. I can't afford any amount of money right now, especially while I'm in rehab. Please if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time, take care.

I know you can go to detox at center for drug free living with no cost up front. They will put you on either a methadone or bupe taper (your choice) and recommend you for either inpatient or outpatient treatment.theres also a place called county jail..last time i checked they are free and lodging and food are also free there.
i met a couple guys who were in there for that exact reason..its too cold to live on the streets of chicago in winter and have a drug habit. so since our legal system is so slow, its easy to get purposly caught for a misty and instead of payin the 100bucks to get out of jail they just sit..and then cxome spring after they spent all winter getting fat, and getting clean they take a plea for time served and the judge lets them out..then they go back to scrapping and panhadleing and getting high until next winter and when it gets too cold and they go back
