so, got a 100 mcg / hr gel fentanyl patch today, and decided instead of just putting it on, trying some of the other methods such as putting it on the gums or smoking it. ive tried both atleast 3-4 times and i dont feel a single thing. i dont know what to do now, if ive wasted the patch or if im doing something wrong. i put a glob of it on a little piece of plastic and smeared it around on my gums. then after waiting about an hour after had trying that about 3 different times, i decided to try smoking it on aluminum foil. i tried that about 3 times as well if not 4, and still nothing. its been about 2 hours now since my first attempt at this. any advice? also id like to add, ive been an opiod addict for 3 years, and i just relapsed about a week ago, after 3 months almost of sobriety. a couple days ago i took 160 mg of oxy within 2-3 hours. but then other days id just take 40 mg hrydocodone so my tolerance isnt set on a specific scale of something. please help?
