My friend did about 50mg line of 2-dpmp 30 hours and want to know if ok to use amitriptyline to try and sleep

Idiocy. ^

Man, 50mg is really high, and i don't think anyone really messes with that stuff, mainly because pipes absolutely blow. I would just wait it out and then not take that again.
 
It's not safe to take amitryptiline as it is a SNRI and can lead to a hypertensive crisis.

You'll probably just have to wait it out.
