Need expert opinion for Codeine and Promethazine

I find this on internet:

"Most of the cough syrups with Codeine and Promethazine contain 10 mg of codeine and 6.25 mg of promethazine per 5 ml of syrup. The combination is responsible for producing the euphoria. In tablet form it will not produce the same effect unless it is converted into some form of "drink". Generally a complete bottle of 120 ml would produce 20 mg morphine."

Is it possible to bring the same effect with Promethazine Hydrochloride Tablet and Codeine Phosphate Tablet?
 
Yes, it's still codeine and promethazine.

No, it will not produce as much euphoria as you think, promethazine will kill off the euphoria in high doses.
 
I read these old topic in Bluelight.


1. "Take the codeine tab 30mg first, after 30mins, take the promethazine tab 10mg"

2. "Orange Juice (with citric acid) can potentiate codeine"


Method 1 and 2 will produce euphoria ?
Method 1 and 2 will produce morphine?

Both produce morphine.

1 will produce less morphine than 2

1 if done incorrectly will fail to be recreational.

2 it is best if you mix the codeine with the juice and drink as a combo.
 
sorry, What is the meaning of "as a combo"?

Is it need to break the codeine tab in powder form for the juice?

Cough syrup with codeine and promethazine, and Orange juice with codeine tab, which one is much bad for health?

If only consider about addiction and euphoria, Can Cough syrup with codeine and promethazine replace by orange juice with codeine tab?
 
Yes break the codeine tab to a powder and mix with the oj for best results.

The cough syrup is the worst for your health as it also contains promethazine. It also depends on if your codeine tabs also contain acetaminophen, then an extract needs to be done for high dosing.

Neither one is going to be better in terms of euphoria, but the syrup is going to make you sleepier due to the promethazine.

Promethazine increases the anti-anxiety, sedating, cough-suppressing and painkilling power of the codeine, not the euphoria. It also reduces the opiate itching associated with codeine. Promethazine has painkilling power in itself similar to Thorazine, and other types of anti-histamines and anti-psychotics as well as typical anti-depressants. This is why it is used with codeine.

Thank you so much for your opinion! I am in codeine taper now. I am trying to leave cough syrup! You are so helful to me.
 
I abosutely HATE phenergan, it just makes you too sleepy to enjoy the codiene and ruins your chances of getting a good dose of the code lest you incapacitate yourself with the antihistamine. also morons who drink it that way and like it, .... I'd take the kind with guaif in it ANYDAY over that phenergan BS
 
syrup, pills, needles, inhalation, insufflation, drug delivery systems are just that, nothing more, what sucks is when other things are added to the drug and can't be removed easily like syrup suspension
 
I saw many post which take about the water extraction of codeine.

Is it the way to make pure codeine?

Codeine phosphate tab 30mg---Need to extract?
 
Your tabs, no, but any of the Tylenol tabs yes.

I've had the 60mg codeine phosphate tabs.
So, I know for sure what tabs you have.

also, tabs with apap will indeed say so, as this is a requirement of the fda.
 
Is it any different between

3 tablets of Codeine phosphate tab 30mg &
6 tablets of Codeine phosphate tab 15mg???
