Need Advise...

Heya guys, first off, sorry if Im not supposed to be posting here... I'm still experiencing some side effect and just needed some advise.. or just someone to tell me if Im doing something wrong and what can I do to make myself feel better..

so during the weekend I had my first trip to the world of E.. I was feeling very down n sad n my buddy took me to the club n let me try it out.. for himself he didn't feel anything much coz he had just gotten high the day before.. anyhow, I ended up taking 1 pill, n stacking half an hour later, and another half another hour later... great experience..

after the party it was 6 and I couldn't sleep. I was told this is normal. the next day was Sunday n I was often tired but finding it very hard to sleep.. experienced some weird stuff for example.. I wanted to go for a swim n prepared and went to swim.. but when I reached the pool I felt super tired.. so tired that I ended up napping on the bench outside the pool.. then went home.. weird dunno is this normal? at night I again had trouble sleeping.. slept at 1am, woke up at 2am.. playd some game, slept again at arnd 4 n woke up at 7ish.. sleeping was hard, I would often dream vividly, n muscles would clench suddenly.. there was one incident where I was dreaming abt some weird stuff, n I suddenly heard a loud pop behind my head n wakes up.. feels like my brain juz exploded...

on Monday things are similar.. there will be times when I suddenly felt super duper tired.. n i just had to nap right there n then.. would nap for about 30-45 minutes n then wake up as usual.. now on Monday night, I read about some Post Loading n decided to give it a try.. that night I took 100mg 5HTP, 100mg VitB6 and 1000mg VitC timed release.. about an hour after eating them I felt super sleepy.. I was glad coz I thought that means Im back to normal and look forward to a good night sleep..

That was yesterday night. Slept great, slept early at 10 n woke up at around 10 this morning! Here's where things gets weird... I woke up and am now feeling like im on a low-high.. my head feels lighter, n also a little numb.. the wind feels great, music feels great.. but also experiencing some headache... my question:

Did I do it wrong? Did I take the PostLoad wayy too far away from my actual E experience?
Or is this the normal effect of the PostLoad?
I also just realized that... the 5-HTP that I took is already a capsule plus Vit B6 & C, so maybe tt means I'm taking too much of VitB6/C?
Or is this the normal effect of E withdrawal? I read some stuff about Suicide Tuesday so it this it?

For some reason, on Sunday n Monday I did not really feel any withdraway. In fact the energy n mood was there, just that I would suddenly feel tired at times (naturally, coz I can't have a good night sleep).. but did not feel down...

now its Tuesday and I'm juz worried.. any advise?
 
First off, you are overthinking this BIGTIME. You took a couple pills (which I'll assume were in fact mdma, but who knows unless you tested it)...perhaps you could elaborate on the effects you felt and we might be able to draw some assumptions on if you actually had mdma. Regardless, give it a week or two and I'm sure you'll feel normal. Get some exercise and some rest and stop overthinking it.

Also, IMO no need for 5-htp after just one roll...your brain probably never dropped back below baseline. The first time I rolled, I felt great for days afterward...loooooong afterglow. You shouldn't have experienced any "suicide tuesday" since, as I said, I doubt you dropped below baseline...at least to any degree you'd notice. Hope the experience was AMAZING cause there is no time like your first.
 
The brain popping is a result of MDMA's effects on the down-regulation of serotonin. This also happens to individuals who come off of SSRI type anti-depressants.

The spaced out feeling people experience as they come off of MDMA is, in my opinion, similar to being on an anti-depressant.

The exhaustion/lack of motivation can be a lack of getting proper sleep and nutrition. The best advice I can give is

Eat a high protein diet,
Perhaps even supplement L-tryptophan
Get sleep
Exercise even if you lack motivation
Keep your mind occupied on fun hobbies

Any strange side-effects are amplified based on your mind set. You will make a full recovery.

The effects are... Well its was AMAZING.. truly was.. no other feeling like it..

I remember expecting that it would be just some kind of high like booze.. and juz listening to the music and all that.. but my friend keep telling me to just wait for it.. when it comes you'll know it.. I was like "Okay.. but WTF am I looking for?" and he wont let me drink booze or other things juz sit tight n wait for it..

Anyway for me the effect was (in as much as I can remember it) like : all of a sudden, the music felt strong, its like much louder... and feels like everybody is cheering and yelling and having fun.. n the lights are all dope n i just feels happy.. visually, things looks like they're clear n vibrant (?).. feels like I've been seing things in low-rez n all of a sudden its high-definition! n then I feel like I'm flying out of my body, like I know i'm still on my stool watching the girls dancing n the lights n all, but my consciousness feels like im out of my body.. like my spirit is flying above n checking everybody out..

Anyhow, it was a great experience, def will try it again.. hopefully try it with preload and postload proper n experience a good high :D

All right I'll take ur advice and juz go exercise.. :D

by the way, how does it feel when ur brain goes "below the baseline"? is that something tt you would want to do? extreme high?

For me, I guess I just feels weird becoz all of a sudden today on Tuesday I feel very different compared to Sun n Mond, and I was just afraid that maybe I took the PostLoad wrong.. things like that...

I don't recommend taking 5-HTP. It's not exactly natural. L-tryptophan has always given me better effects, however eating healthy is always a much better alternative to supplementing.

Below baseline? Perhaps that's referencing to neurotoxicity and depression post-roll. This is more likely to happen if you mix MDMA with other amphetamines. You may encounter what could be considered a short-term case of anhedonia (Please correct me if this is too extreme a term).

From my experience of using MDMA too often; I felt stressed without any real reason and anything that was actually stressful was nearly unbearable. This is why it's intelligent to practice waiting for your receptors to fully redevelop, which can take a deceptively long time.
 
Renz.. how do you find out if your receptors have fully developed or not, n how long will that usually be? I know it will surely differ from person to person, but juz wondering about some approximation?

N thanks for the advise. The meds that I bought is actualy L-5-HydroxyTryptophan so... I'm guessing its similar? It does say that its natural (but I guess they all say that dont they..?)
 
It's different for everyone. A safe bet is to wait a minimum of a month between rolls. However I think the best advice is to save your rolls for major events. So probably only 2-6 times a year.

The better your diet and sleeping patterns is, the easier recovery will be. It's just how homeostasis works in the body.

I've considered dropping all drug use in general, and only taking MDMA on the months of big festivals for the sake of having a life changing experience each time.
 
yeah man, u'l be fine. the fact that u can form complete sentences and recall your experience is enough to show that you are fine. people who take E on the weekend have a come-down that really sucks. it's called suicide monday or some shit and u really need to be careful. take E sparingly to let the chemicals in your head go back in balanced before rolling again and u will not become an E-tard. no one wants to be an E-tard, cuz e-tards are gay.
