Need advice on long term breakup

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 5 years and 5 months, We both got arrested in july, he bonded out I waited until court. Anyway we have been very close, I lived at his brothers with him, we had our own house, we lived at my dads together to give you an idea. We got heavy into HEROIN together a couple years back -thats the reason we went to jail. Anyway I seen him when i got out the day before thanksigiving, we 'hung out' That day, and havent seen eachother since. I am staying clean and i know he is, but he hasn't bothered to call or contact me in any way. ;( I called his brothers wife and she told me he doesn't live there, but I drove by and saw his car. WTF?? what should I do, just forget about him OR WHAT?? I feel like someone ripped my heart out and shit on it. PS I am also a guy.

Yeah, you should move on. I hate to say it but, you could be a trigger for him to have a relapse and that could be why he is avoiding you.

Maybe he doesn't live there and is only staying there temporarily and the family doesn't want you to be around him.

However, I wouldn't count on that, depending upon how old you both are. :-/
