Newbie on the board, have been browsing through some of the threads byt i'm really kinda lost! Can someone point me in the right direction of the main board on BL?

^ Yes, the 'forum' tab as well as the 'home' tab on the top left of the page will bring you to the list of all the forums on bluelight. The 'home' tab brings you to the front page which has some popular threads on there that the administrators thought would be of interest for a lot of people browsing the site. It also has a list of the forums, but the 'forum' tab shows all of the forums as well as the descriptions of each forum.

to add to the responses you have already received, there's no 'main' board on bluelight as such which may account for some of your initial confusion. discussion is split across a large number of forums, organised by subject.
