neck injection

hi everyone im new on the site so I apologize in advance if I say anything offensive. someone I know needs to learn how to inject in one's neck safely. can anyone help? or has had experience on the subject? can someone please help me?

I was at the point the only place I could hit myself was in the neck. My girlfriend at the time was doing the same. It was only after she hit a nerve causing permanent nerve damage that I quit hitting the neck. It's definitely a roll of the dice.

I saw an old friend from High School do that a few years back, I was thinking damn if you have to have someone shoot into your neck why not take a few weeks off with methadone at least? I understand it can be hard but thats kinda really extreme.
