so I just dropped 2 tabs of what should be lsd which I tested beforehand with an Ehrlich reagent. I also tested for fent on multiple samples from the sheet all negative. now the odd thing is the reagent test was definitively purple and the right shade for lsd, yet the tabs taste bitter which all advice says is a sign of nbome content. I have taken the same dose from the same sheet before without any ill effects I just now thought to inquire about this though. is it possible the paper just has something bitter in it? has anyone else had tabs that should be lsd according to a test but nonetheless tasted bitter? it doesn't taste metallic, sour, or chemically, nor is it numbing. just bitter.

I get this too sometimes. From what I've heard, NBOME's are distinctly numbing and very chemical tasting and bitter.
Piece of paper with ink on it might taste a bit bitter by itself, but if it's an nbome you'd probably know.
If the reagent tests looked good I wouldn't worry about it too much.
