[NBOMe Subthread] Custom Blotters for Harm Reduction

Could you recommend specific printer/offset printer, soy-based ink, and cotton paper products that you find to be of high quality for this purpose? I'd love to get into blotter design but not knowing exactly what blotter should be "made of" I've always found it daunting and prohibitive. I would be interested in purchasing the right equipment and supplies just to be able to print out peoples' designs for them.
 
Well I can recommend to you the people I had print and perforate them for me, just shoot me a PM :) But as far as the actual makes and models of printers and the item numbers for inks and such, unfortunately I just don't know :( but to be honest the perforating is actually the really specific thing. There should be no reason why you couldn't have someone make (or make yourself) a perforating machine, and believe me I would love to have one of those as well. I could have any print shop probably print up the designs to spec and on specific papers, but to be able to actually perf the designs...that would be awesome :)
 
Yeah it's really cool. I've had it as the bg on my phone since you started this thread, and I'm not especially interested in ever ingesting any nbome's, I just like the art.

Passing off NBOMe for acid

Nobody's going to be passing these off for acid.

Why isn't dosage info always incorporated into the blotter art anyway? That way people know what they are getting and it stops dealers being able to talk up their product.

yeah looks very nice. actually i think acid should be sold the same way. unfortunately a lot of the users go more after the blotter art ("woah these shivas give you such a clean trip, maaaan") and/or the bullshit, the dealer is going to tell them, when he actually has no idea about how much material is on the blotter. that's the reason i don't really intend to take LSD right now, even though i have access to it, but it bothers me that i have no idea about the dose.

I personally disagree. You can get enough information through forums to make a pretty informed decision, I guess depending on where you live.

That being said, this is an awesome idea but it wouldn't stop dodgy suppliers to put false numbers on the print. If they ever legalise these compounds though the print should be the dose, and crystal quality for LSD.
 
The one downside to this, is that just because you write something on a blotter, doesn't make it active.
Prepare for fake 25x blotters.

That is a sweet idea as long as it is honest :sus: Do the outer blotters have more potency from capillary action? Blotter art is a way for batches to be referred to and also look nice etc. Perhaps the best blotters I had were plain with no art, but does that mean they are no good?
 
Just an idea, but maybe they could have art on one side, and information on the other! I think this is an amazing idea. We need dosage information even for LSD (but I know how that will go...).
 
Did you print these yourself, or have it custom designed? I'd like to design my own blotter if you have a website where such services are available lol. Put some cool ass art on a sheet.. (:
 
its been done a lot, thankfully. hopefully we'll see this more in future.

has anyone tried putting watercolor paper through a home printer? you might be able to print dosage information onto the back of perforated blotter art. maybe even through MS office.
 
If not absorbed as well sublingually, how is this an issue? I've no idea how one could mistake this for acid, in the experience. At least 25D.
