Half serious. I know its totally irrational but im gonna air the house out, im worried for the family and such. Sometimes logic can't overcome irrational thoughts for me, and its worth my peace of mind.

I can't believe you trashed them. I've personally handled a sheet of 1mg dosed 25c-nbome blotters and rubbed my eyes and got no effects. Even if 25c-nbome got into the air it would degrade in seconds. Even if you took a gallon of 25c solution and poured it on the floor, the vapors wouldn't even affect you, you're being paranoid.

is that all true? I thought the nbomes and phenathlyamines were very stable? if that's true that it puts me more at ease.

You are being needlessly paranoid.

At normal conditions (read: not inside a furnace) the only way yoiu could get 25X-NBOMe's "in the air" is by suspending them as a dust. High molecular weight compounds like the NBOMes -especially when in salt form - do not "evaporate" appreciably - they don't have measurable vapour pressures.

Even if 25c-nbome got into the air it would degrade in seconds.

This bit is untrue; the NBOMe series are pretty stable. The nice thing about them is they are very, very poorly absorbed through oral dosing and skin/contact dosing. (Anecdote: Nick Sand, LSD chemist extraordinaire, painted LSD in DMSO - a solvent that penetrates the skin - onto himself, and ... nothing happened. Maybe it has to do with the fact that your skin is designed as a chemical barrier.)

More correctly phrased, "Even if 25C-NBOMe got into the air, it wouldn't stay there". It would pretty quickly cool and turn to a could of dust, which will settle to the floor harmlessly after a few hours.

If you feel paranoid about the 25X series, stop and don't even bother to do them. Throw them out. Psychedelics and paranoia don't mix. More importantly: don't buy drugs that you can't handle storing.

1. contagious illness within the family, or,
2. seasonal chanegs in temperature and humidity, or
3. trace amounts of psychotropic drugs evaporating off a blotter containing no more than a few milligrams of practically non-volatile drug, at room temperature and pressure, being diluted into thousands of litres of household air, being exposed to light, heat, atmospheric chemicals like ozone, nitrogen oxides, and oxygen on the way, and still managing to get absorbed and reach psychedelic concentrations in the brain, despite the fact they are presumably stored in a sealed container.

The best way to ensure your home is free of 25X compounds is by raining nuclear hellfire down on it from orbit, desolating the land for thousands of years to come. But you won't have to worry about those pesky blotters.

I have a dome and nail(smoking device would post video but on mobile), is there anyway if it got in the air that it would go in there? I know i've already asked, but that'd be a very bad thing. Anyways thank you guys for dealing with my dumbass, im never going to obtain a chemical that could make me paranoid like that again, thanks again you guys. Sorry if I made any of you facepalm, just know all your answers have reduced my stress.

Ok OP. Let me tell you a story, that is 100% true. If this doesn't put your mind at ease, nothing will.

Due to a shipping error, I have a huge amount of 25C-NBOMe. I'm talking so much that when I place it on my scale, the scale just says "--OVER--" on the display. Based on that, I have more than 100g of it. I am very responsible with such chemicals, but not everyone is. I was teaching a close friend how to prepare 25C for consumption using volumetric dosing. He was watching me (complete with NBC-rated filter-mask and gloves), and he wanted to give it a try. I went to the washroom, and told him that he could try his hand at the process when I got back. I left. When I got back, my fool of a friend was elbow-deep in the bag of 25C, no gloves, no mask. He ended up covered in a fine layer of crystals, as did I from helping him clean himself up. The crystals are VERY sharp, it felt like having splinters in our skin. I'm not sure how much of it was dispersed as dust in the air. Neither of us felt any effects from this. We probably had 100 of your blotters worth of this compound all over us, if not more, and no one suffered a single effect. Not a ripple, not a tracer, not a stray thought.

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that your house, your family, or your smoking apparatus has suffered any contamination. Period. . <--- (That was supposed to be me pointing to the period.)

Jesus is right. When I came out of the bathroom and saw him like that I didn't know whether to shit or wind my watch! I had been handling this stuff in the same way that I have handled crystal lysergamides in the past, so to see someone like this almost made my heart stop. I thought that in the best-case scenario I was going to be scraping his brains off of the cosmos, and in the worst-case scenario I was going to be pushing a corpse from a moving car in front of a hospital! It was certainly a relief that nothing happened, and also good to know how much more forgiving this stuff is compared to other psychedelics that are active in the sub-milligram range.

Exactly. If neither of us, nor anyone else in the house suffered ill effects from our experience, there's no way that your family or your smoking device will have been exposed to NBOMe from your blotters. Rest your mind. Do some research on these psychedelics and make an informed decision about whether you feel right consuming them or not. Your fears say that you have not done nearly enough research to be consuming these compounds, because if you had you would know that your fears are baseless. I know I am just reiterating what others have said here, but I feel like hearing it from yet another person may help you past your fear. Don't take any of this as an insult, and don't feel inferior or embarrassed. You did the right thing by asking those who are in the know when you had a concern. It shows that you have the right idea, you just need to learn some more. Also, please don't take this as an insult, but I feel it's necessary to ask this. Do you or any of your blood relatives have a history of mental illness? If you do, you should seriously consider staying away from psychedelics in general, and especially novel ones with little history of human use and virtually no understanding of how they may react with certain conditions like the 2C-X-NBOMe series. If you were unaware, psychedelics can precipitate serious mental illnesses that have not yet shown themselves.

There is a history of depression and anxiety disorders in my family. I don't think I should experiment with the nbomes, and leave it to experienced phyconauts. Ill consider myself lucky and not mess with psycadelics anymore, especially unresearched ones. thank you, I don't feel insulted at all. thanks for the story, it really does calm the nerves. I have all these physical symptoms from stress that I was attributing to the nbomes which was making my stress worse. so thank you, your feedback is much appreciated

You could always clean the piece, when you heat the nail up it would destroy the nbome anyways. I vaporize nbome through my titanium nail and I don't even need to clean it because when I heat it red hot before using it for wax all the residue burns off.

Yeah don't do drugs if theirs a history of mental problems in your family. Depression and anxiety can be worsened a lot by drugs.

NBOMe's in the air.... only if you had like a gram of HCL and you sneezed when you were working with it and then some one else entered the room.

Well.... maybe not only that, I think the rules laid out on Wikipedia are accurate for anyone working with the straight raw powder, If you are working with a large amount 500 mg to 1 gram it would be very advisable to work in a lab like conditions. Grab eye gear and mask and gloves. and a lab jacket it you must work with such large copious amount or more. Working with large amounts requires great care I would think. Personally I would be afraid to work with such an amount. No reason too for me though, a 10mg free sample basically lasts more then a year by my estimate.... LOL

Otherwise I would think working near a sink like in a bathroom, would be the arrporiate way to deal with any erant material falling out of a bag. It is what I did.


I would think blotters have binded to the paper so there is less chance of an issue.

SWIM bought 5 25c nbome blotters. SWIM is scared of his family/friends/kids ingesting it through the air somehow.swim is also scared he might be exposed to it everyday/permanently Can someone bring light to these irrational fear?
