It has been a while since I have written any trip reports. But being this is not a common substance and there is very little reports I thought I would share my experience.
A friend and myself recently received a sample of this respectably new substance. only 100mg each, but considering there is very little reports on the dosing I decided not to jump right into a high dosage and be a little more alert as to what I was going through.
My original intention was to do the entire 100mg as I have read a few reports on dosages up to the 150mg range, and this did not appear to be too much. Next was to decide the method of ingestion. I was hoping to just load up a capsule and take it orally, or in a liquid suspension as I prefer my 2C-x's and most RC's. however I read that this substance is not active through oral ingestion. I have read sublingually works, but the taste is not one that is pleasant. Suppositories are just out of the question. It may not be that bad, but I refuse to go there. This basically left insulfation (I refuse to use needles, nothing against them, I just don't think I need any substance enough to ever need to inject it into myself). And so, I eyed the 100mg into 4 even lines 2 for each nostril. Now the fun begins.
T+0:00 - I do the first 2 lines, one in each side of the nose. My intention was to let this drip then to do the remainder this way the least amount of substance would be lost in my mucus and be wasted. There was relatively no burn at all, probably the smoothest substance to ever travel through my nose. Now comes the drip... the taste is HORRIBLE! It wasn't so bad at first but the bitter chemically taste is just lingering in the back of my throat and will not go away. I take a couple sips of water and this is no help. It feels as if the drip stopped in the one spot I can taste it most. As the bitter taste refuses to diminish I begin to cough and gag. I probably could have tolerated this better had I known what to expect. After a few dry heaves I feel as though things are solid and going to stay down. I have a bit of a headache now from the gaging and dry heaving, but aside from that I'm ok.
T+0:10 - Some friends show up and with all the madness of trying to find a way to get rid of this flavor my head is a little out of place and my focus is anywhere but trying to great my friends who have just arrived, I apologize and tell them ill be back in a bit and head to my room to lay down till things calm. My stomach is a little uneasy and I feel a bit confused. This feeling is very similar to the come up I have off most psychedelics, but it is fairly mild so I am not sure if this is the first signs of the substance or due to the dry heaving and the unexpected "bad experience" with the insulfation. I decide to take a small hit of Marijuana to try to mellow things out and ease my stomach.
T+0:15 - After laying in bed for about 5 minutes staring at my ceiling, thinking about what is to come, I am overcome with a sudden urge to get up and socialize. My mood went from "maybe this wasn't as good of an idea as I thought" to "I feel great, lets go do stuff" almost instantly. I feel amazing! the euphoria reminds me almost of a light dose of MDMA, minus the body high. I definitely feel as though I could have done the full 100mg and been fine.
T+1:00 - I'm in a great mood, even though nothing spectacular is going on I am having one of the best nights in a while, I cant help but feel good, laugh and smile. This is very similar to a 12 inch dose of San Pedro. But yet, it still feels "artificial" unlike the San P. Music sounds amazing! Nothing too prominent visually. Colors and patterns are more pleasing to look at, but only slight "breathing" and "shifting" effects when i focus on a certain area for long enough. CEV are active, but abstract and unclear, like none of the images are complete. Lots of sharp angles and lines. This has great potential for social gatherings and parties.
T+5:00 - I'm starting to pretty much feel normal although I don't yet feel "Sober" the effects are diminishing and almost background. My mood has stayed elevated. But the little tingly warm feeling has subsided.
Over all the trip was great, I don't know when I will do the other 50mg, probably some time while on a low dose of acid to help loosen the hinges on the psychedelic door. I don't know if I will get more anytime soon, although the trip was very enjoyable its just not practical for the price. maybe on a special occasion, but there is better stuff out there.
