Guess we finally solved the age old mystery of who is actually getting rich off the sale of illegal drugs.. its the very people who make them illegal. Surprise, Surprise, another fucking scam.

EDIT: you drinking tonight pmose. your post have the tone of one who is a little GABA'd up?
You think they make money from disposing bags of heroin into the ocean?

Is that figure based on just the liberal value placed by enforcement on drugs or does it include money and property seizures as well?

I love how law dogs always want their picture taken with the drugs.. guess its an accomplishment thing.

The guy standing an the left is doing the math in his head... "yeah fuck that.. I could smoke it all in five years.. I know I could"

so many problems in the world and we are using resources like that to intercept hash.. sorry but what a joke, and not even a funny one.

Which figure?
Do you think Afghanistan is a problem?

Which figure?
Do you think Afghanistan is a problem?

The "Consider an $80,000,000,000 USD in annual seizures." figure

Well think of afghanistan.. its seems to me that the largest production of herion in the world is allowed to continue because it is necessary to provide a living for the people who live there as the area is supposedly so inhospitable to growing other crops to a level that can support the farmers. But in reality the problems that needs to be addressed are the violence and death of the black market and the social problems that result from the problem drug users. With something like 80,000 deaths in the last eight years in mexico due to the violence the drug war created black market has created combined with its undeniable inability to stem or even limit the availability or desire for the drugs we need to rethink the whole approach.

Will this come with problems yes it will, like what crime will the criminals turn to when their cash cow of drugs is gone? What will the new problems that would surface if a regulated market of what are now illicit drugs is tried? What would that regulation entail, what quantity of drugs would people be allowed to purchase, what purity would be available? Would there be a cut off time to by these drugs like they have for alcohol? Lots of questions when we think of trying something new, but as there is no longer much doubt when we ask if if the current approach has failed, yes it has.

No. That figure was based on just drugs.

Countries need to develop to the point where they can govern under international law.

^ Elaborate? Yeah, you talk absolute nonsense. Biased, ignorant, irrelevant "trash".

Here's an example;

Countries need to develop to the point where they can govern under international law.
You're an expert in international law now?

International law...like....the international law ignored by the United State in Guantanamo Bay, and any number of war crimes of the past decade, hmm?
Does the term "Collateral murder" mean anything to you?
How do countries "develop" when they are crippled by western imperialist interests or famine, war or other conflict?

The country enforcing these laws?
How does one "ask Australia" anyway? Some of us have been campaigning against human rights abuses for over 10 years.

You're changing the subject - again.

I ask again - what do American war crimes mean to you?
