So ive been struggling bad with my oxy addiction. Im at 200mg a day now on average with my script of oxy 15mg. IR. I have a very bad anxiety/panic disorder and takin such high amounts is causing me so much stress and tge fact that im also having a very hard time quiting is also stressing me out. Not only that but i just got this med this month for tge first time. Before i was on perc 10s. Anyway, lately i am having a very hard time getting high like i use to. I dont really get that warm good relaxed feeling anymore, i feel high a little but not much. Even from 60mg over a period of 2 hours. Im also getting really nauseated and just an overall icky feeling from them. For example, i take 30mg in the morning. Ill feel kind of good for about 30 min and all tge sudden it seems its gone and i feel the nausea come on slowly and gets much worse with movement. Driving is unbearable when i feel like this. I pull over and puke. Ive done it twice now. I feel this way for about an hour or two then it slowly gets better. Unless i dose again which i usually do because i cant stand being sick like that and this is why my dose throughout the day is so high. So what coukd be causing this? This happened every once in awhike with the percs but not every time. Anyone have any clues? I am trying to stop though. I cant live like this much longer

I can't tell from your post what the problem might be but I think it could be beneficial to do some experiments. For instance, does it happen if you take it on an empty stomach or does it happen if you've just eaten. If it's true with one of them, try the other. Basically, makes notes of things like that and you might just hit on what the problem may be. This is where a "journal" would come in handy. Make notes on when you take your meds, when you eat, when you use the john (when I used to get backed up, I'd have problems) and any notable item(s).

Hopefully you can get this figured out. Good Luck Mia

Eventually, the 'magic' runs out with OC. It sounds like the magic is gone for you at your current level of use, and even taking higher doses isn't bringing it back.

If you have a legitimate need for pain management, I'd took to your doctor about switching to something that may have lower tolerance too (there isn't complete cross tolerance between most opiods)- maybe time release morphine.

If you are just taking them to get high...it's probably time to quit, at least for awhile.

I agree. That's a lot of oxy! I was taking like 75mg and it would make me naucous. I got off of it and went back to Dilaudid but I would agree with wants 2 nod and time to quit or slow down. I know it's hard and maybe sub will help you. It's pretty simple, that much oxy I think would make anyone naucous but I thought I'd chime in cause it did it to me too. Good luck
