Ok so I have been on suboxone for around 7 months now, I started at around 8 mgs, but for the past 4 months I've been on around 1-2 mgs a day depending on how I feel. Recently I decided to take a day off from suboxone which was on Thursday, and then I took 1.5mgs on Friday and I was fine. Come Saturday, I woke up feeling nauseous as fuck, tried to eat some oatmeal, took a couple bites and threw it back up. Felt nauseous all day Saturday even after taking my usual 1mg sub, thought it was from taking a day off, and didn't give much thought too it. Well Sunday i woke up still feeling nauseous, didn't eat anything all day due to nausea, then tried to eat some soup and crackers which I ended up throwing up. Then today, I woke up feeling a little better took .5 mg sub, finally was able to keep down a couple bites of cereal, then tried to eat half a banana an hour ago which I puked up like thirty mins ago.

I'm fucking confused, because after throwing up I feel normal, but then I get hungry, eat and getting really nauseous. I thought maybe it was the flu but I feel fine now after throwing up. I feel hungry as fuck but I know that whatever I eat will come back up. So I thought maybe it was the suboxone but then why do I only feel nauseous after eating? This fucking sucks! Idk whether to go to the doctor or try to wait it out, if its just sub then fuck spendingoney on the Dr, but if I am sick it would help.

I guess my question is does anyone else on bupe get nauseous after taking a day off from taki.g bup, is it like wd or something? I have sub in me and don't feel any other symptomss, and it can't be from taking too much au. Because I have been stablized on the same dose for a good bit and haven't felt nauseous. Come to think of it I was on like around 1.5mgs a day the past week and the past couple days I've only took 0.5 or 1mg. Could it be I am not taking enough? I mean sub should have a pretty solid level built up in me after taking it nearly everyday for 5+ months

First off my bad on the addy bupe thread. My buddy and I were just curious and he went off the deepens trying to be all amateur Neurologist per the usual. I am simply an off-and-on opiate addict who uses subs to fight the wd symptoms. I don't pretend to understand the neurological effects. Although I appreciate and respect your response to the verbal vomit that was my friend's attempts at pretending to have an IQ above 100.

Anyway - I am om round 3 of two 8 mg sub strips a day coming off of 300mg+ of oxy per day, consistently. It seems like the longer I take the subs the better they work, but if I am accustomed to 8 mg strips and take 2 mg instead, intense nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and inability to sleep always seems to ensue. I think it's like oxy... if you're used to a certain dosage then you body expects that and anything less just teases you and leaves you wanting more. Again nit sure what the in-depth, scientific explanation for that is, but that's what I have experienced.
