Hey guys. Been a long time since I posted. I'd stopped rolling for awhile, due to being in relationships w/people who weren't open to illegal drugs.
Here's a quick background:
Used ecstasy moderately between the ages of 22-24, no more than once a month, but usually with a couple of months in between. Probably took up to a week to feel "normal" again each time, just the normal side effects though, bit more tired, a little bit blah, etc. Always pre-loaded w/antioxidants and post-loaded with 5htp and more antioxidants. Most I ever took in 1 night was 2 1/2 pills, but it was usually just 1.
Didn't roll for about 3 years, then got a hold of a pure MDMA cap and had a great roll with no adverse side effects.
Fast forward 4 years to now, 31 years old. Back around Memorial Day my b/f decided he wanted to try it, so I got a hold of some rolls, supposedly really strong. I was advised just to start with a half. So did that and took another half an hour or so later. Dosed up a 3rd time at the end of the night with another half. That wasn't the smartest idea, but only side effect was really shitty sleep.
That was on a Saturday night, and on Tuesday, I was feeling really nauseous, so much so that I had to leave work. I could barely move all that day without feeling like I had to hurl, but never did. Was only able to sleep after chewing on some ginger root. Didn't make it to work Wednesday either, but was feeling better by Thursday. I'd never had that kind of a reaction before, and I wasn't sure if it was from the E or if maybe I just had a stomach bug.
Had 5 months off and then rolled again this past weekend. Same protocol with pre-loading with antioxidants (C, E and green tea extract) and post-loading with the same and adding in 5htp. Also pre- and post-loaded with Piracetam. Only took half to start and another half about an hour later and had a great roll. Actually felt good on Sunday and Monday, better than I normally feel actually. Then the nausea set in a bit on Tuesday, but I drank some ginger tea and was fine. It definitely was not as bad as it had been before. Tuesday night I started feeling a sore throat coming on and also had to get an inflamed cyst lanced and drained (SO not fun and unbelievably painful). As a result of all that, I took a sick day on Wednesday, and the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks.
Chewing on a piece of ginger root put it at bay for 2-3 hours, but it always just came right back after that. I was absolutely miserable. Last night I slept for 11 hours and am really weak today, but at least do not feel any nausea yet.
So what the hell is this? Does anyone get a couple of days of feeling like they're going to hurl 2-3 days after rolling? I initially thought that maybe it was the strength of the pills, but I took less this time and am still getting a severe reaction. And I thought maybe it's something that they were cut with, but nobody else that took them is getting this side effect either. Any ideas?
The weird thing is that I never get an upset stomach when I roll, it actually makes my whole body feel great.
I'm at a complete loss and am starting to think that maybe I just can't roll anymore. Before the cost was worth the benefit, and that's just not the case now.
