Naturally high Opiate tolerance

I can remember a while ago in a thread here, Phreex talked about some people having a naturally high Opiate tolerance. I am very afraid my girlfriend is one of these people. I , however am defiantly not, I have to get my tollerence the old fassion way.
She just doesn’t seem to get off from opiates and she can take quite an impressive amount for some one with absoultly no tolerance. Some times she will even use daily with me for small periods of time but she just never gets that excited about it. She says benzo’s get her more messed up.
So I’m not sure if I should just be glad she doesn’t like them because she keeps my monkey in check, or is there anything else I can do so she will enjoy them more. I have to admit, with out her I probably would use A LOT more. Right now I am on day 14 of a 4 week complete opiate fast. I do this several times a year and I don’t have a problem kicking when I want to. It isn’t always fun, but I just takes a little bit of extra will (ok, maybe a few truck loads of extra will).
 
She's been giving it a try for 3 years. Over that time she's done many opiates like oxy, MS, k4's,etc. and several forms of O I've figured out how prepair over the years. She just won't do h because of what she has heard about it all her life, as if it's that different that other strong opiates (I'm not saying it's not the best).
The most recent try she gave it was like this. She hadn't used any opiate in 3 weeks and she took 40 mgs of oxycontin (crushed) at once orally. She is high, but she never seems to like it that much or get excited about it. She doesn't see why I like the narcotics so much. She says she perfers effects of diazapam to narcotics.
When I take 40mgs of oxy with absoultly no tollerance, I sure would be VERY high. I've seen people with no tolerance puke off of 20mgs.
Maybe my GF is lucky that she won't have to worry about a monkey.
 
Some people just do not enjoy the narcotic high (not me!!! :) ). She might be one them...

That's what I'm afraid of. At least she isn't bothered by me using too much, unless I really over do it for a while. I'm probably lucky to have something like this to help me regulate my use.
 
my brother has a script for VICODEN and he started taking them and he said he HATED the feeling it gave him(irritable/tired), so Opiates are great for some, shitty for others....
just like some people COCA, some like METH etc etc..
 
if she wasn't puking of a crushed oc40, then yes she deffinately has somewhat of a natural tolerance. but it also sounds like she prefers other things...her loss is your gain ;)
 
I wish I could explain a little betterm but yeah, opioids are simply not for everyone... I have had several girlfriends, all OPIOD VIRGINS - I can do 20mgc of O for a mild to moderate buzz - these people could rail 49mg-60mg and feel NOTHING..
 
We’re both pot heads. She has tried just about every type of drug , but lately she just smokes. She smokes just as much as I do. On an average day we will go through 6g of the best pot we can find (and we live in california). Once in a while she will have a drink or two. About the only other drug that gets her excited anymore is mescaline, which we do now instead of e. Other than that she seems pretty over every thing else. When I do figure something new out, she is usually a good sport and wants to try it, though.
 
I wouldnt be concerned for her at all. I like benzos and opiates...alot. I haveta say though benzos are a great family of recreational drugs. Imo, the high is very euphoric, it crushes any social anxiety that many drug users experience, they mix well with other drugs, they are extremely cheap, nice duration of effects...I could go on and on here.

I’m not saying anything bad about benzos. I love them. By themself of with other stuff. But they don’t make my mouth water like k4’s or Oxy or h. For a while I would feel guilty giving her klonopin and taking dilaudid. But I guess I’m over it now.
 
The Coedine FAQ in Erowid talks about a chemical in the body that converts coedine to morphine. 7%of the white population is extremely low in this chemical, and many others have somewhat low amounts. This means that you can't really get off the coedine. It SUCKED cause I was looking forward to trying coedine...and guess what...yep, lucky me. Fortunately Hydros still do it for me. I did oxycodone once (delayed release capsule though) and I don't remember it doing much. Methadone will fuck you up...and be great...until several hours later when you're throwing up and getting splitting headaches..and they can last for a few DAYS!
Also taking antidepressants dulls the effects of opiates. Skip a few days of the antidepressant if you plan to take some kind of opiate.
