Opioids Natural tolerance to opiates?

Recently i have been experimenting with codeine and tramadol. Codeine gave me a slight buzz and i must have taken 250mg. Tramadol I have taken 400mg before and only got a slight high... mostly both of them just make me nod out i have started using them as sleep aids as i have just been through a terrible alcohol withdrawal nd am having trouble sleeping.

I have smoked opium a few times and that was amazing!! But these two seem nothing like the experiences i hear from others.

Am i just not taking enough or what?? Also, can you rail tramadol?
 
well you are taking very weak opiods to begin with. Tramadol hardly even countys as one to begin with, 400mg of tram is a lot though and you really need to be careful as you could very easy have had a seizure at that dose.

Try to get some better opiates, like hydrocodone or oxycodone. I mean you said they did make you nod out, so I'm sure you'll get the results you're looking with some more potent drugs.

And yea, don't go railing tramadol just swallow it.
 
Yes-to what Nib said. Tramadol is a weak drug-if you look even at wikipedia you will see that it isn't a typical opiate, rather that it's very complex and hits a lot of receptors, working not as an opiate but as an opiate, antidepressant, stimulant, etc...

Codeine is at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of opiates. I would say that these two substances aren't going to give you the effect you are looking for. Try something else.
NO, do not rail tramadol.
 
Tramadol is a very weak analgesic so that fact that you must take so much is not surprising. As nib said though taking that high of a dose puts you at risk for seizure because Trams are not your average opioid. Try something else(oxy or hydro) for desired results.

also, to reiterate, do not snort trams
 
both of those are weak as hell

get some oxycodone hydrocodone hyromorphone or oxymorphone.
