Natural immunity to drugs?

Been reading around in here about natural immunity to opiates, my "problem" is that I seem to be basically immune to the high of any drug. How is this possible? I do get the pain relief from morphine and such but there is no high whatsoever no matter the dosage. Is this even biologically possible? Tried a variety of substances from ephedrine and weed to cocaine and H.. Anyone else work this way or am I a freak of nature?

lol thats crazy. I guess nothing is impossible though. Maybe something in your body isnt normal or something i dont know

Not sure if to be happily blessed or feel like I´m missing out here :/ Alcohol works perfectly though so I guess I´m not totally screwed when in need of escape?

Well either way this is a very good thing as you won't have to go through addiction. Just stick to alcohol and weed and you'll live a happy life. It's honestly something most of us wish we had is a natural immunity because withdrawals too anything is hell.

I'm thinking its far more likely that your expectation of the experience is skewed than you are somehow able to receive the therapeutic effects of chemicals but not the recreational... but how can we know? All we have here is blind speculation.

some people require more drugs to get the high they want, people have differing quality drugs, etc.

anyway, welcome to bluelight. i left your thread open for a bit; you got the replies i was expecting--minus "me too." just so you know, this is a common thread topic and you are far from alone.

as Cane2theLeft pointed out, this thread can only lead to endless speculation, which is addressed in the BDD guidelines.
