Natural Endorphins and opiates/opioids

is it actually safe to excercise on poppy pod tea then?

as it slows down the heart rate, would this be bad for your heart if you were to do excercise like running?

bumped clean out.
harm reduction site... my ass

if i die tonight it will be your fault

All this talk of exercising after getting high seems counterproductive. In that case, the opiate help the exercise (you can get more reps, etc), but the exercise does not help the opiates (in my experience, I never got higher this way).

If you want the exercise to help the high, exercise first, then take opiates. If you're at a public gym, just tie one down in the locker room. Don't worry, they'll just think you're taking steroids ;)

When in extremely depressed and self-loathing moods, I've taken H and cut. Both accentuate the other... It's a strange experience. Problem being, lowered pain threshold means you can go overboard on the cutting :\

Jeez...is that why I always feel "normal" when a take a non-intoxicating dose of opiates?

I've been on every anti-depressant known to man, nothing really worked.
It takes about 150-200 mgs of oxy, let's say, to feel a slight buzz at this point, unfortunately.

but when i take 30-50 mgs, I just feel...normal. All the usual stuff people say, I like talking to people, clean the house, do good at work, etc...
So, are opiates the ultimate anti-depressant?

Right now I only take suboxone so that I can be a human being, go to work, have a relationship , and be a member of my family. Or I can do 800 mg of oxy and be a vegetable .

Not if you use before and after you work out.

I've wondered that quite a bit. Usually if I go running on H, I take it easy since I don't want to put too much stress on my heart. Though, I did run a race on smack in November. Haven't had any noticeable problems, though that doesn't mean I'm not doing damage. :\

well i played 5 aside yesterday and had lots of energy (coz im fit anyway) and tbh it increased my high so much, yesterday was the first time out of 5 attempts that ive actually got high from the same batch and amount of poppy pods.

I felt amazing and still feel content and happy today.

Dont see why everyone says its so addictive though, I wont do it more than twice a month.

Running on it defnatly improves the high.

Man take some self responsibility. You think everything everyone says on here is gospel? Do your own research, everything people say on here is matter of opinion. There is plenty of information on the internet for you to understand the risks. Besides, I don't even see a post where someone said you should take that much, they just said it would make the high better for them...you have to be the judge of your own tolerance.

It usually is the ultimate short-term Antidepressant for me also. If I've been feeling shit all day, I'll have a smoke and feel absolutely fine. Just "normal" y'know?
I feel sociable, feel like I can be active, have motivation etc.
Everything I don't have when I'm depressed.
But sometimes not even H can relieve the low :\

I'm just like the guy above. I only feel "right" if I'm on a small dose of opiates. I become a different person, and not just the effects of the high. I get gregarious and contemplative, even creative. I love using poppy tea for this. I think it's called Endorphin Defficency or something, but I don't think there is much medical research on it, if it is even recognized as an disorder. You know how doctors think about us druggies wanting more drugs 8)

And I personaly wouldn't recomend working out while on it. Don't think it can kill you or damage your heart, but it should hurt the buzz. Now stronger things like heroin and such (such like a super high dose of poppy tea) could easily cause slight heart damage, but I would prefer the opinion of a doctor or med student. I know there are plenty of them here.

I'd also prefer some comments from oanyone who's in the know about the anti-depressant theory, the deficiency of endorphins and other chemicals. I've been tested enough, and diagnosed enough, and just done enough thinking, living, and meditating, to know there's just something wrong when my brain spends a few years just simply empty. I can feel it.
Nothing works like opiates even at non intoxicating doses, ill say it a million times... got a be some research on this. nothing works like opiates.

and i get bronchitis like three times a year like clockwork, except when i'm on opiates, i never, ever get sick. I even said this to a doc the other day and he said "yeah, of course"

^Morphine has been established as an anti-depressant. It is too recreational to be prescribed for such purposes though. I know what you mean, though I am not depressed, a very low dose of opiates gives me a mood lift without any real euphoria or body load.

There are at least a dozen different endorphins and they have all been implicated in the 'addiction' to running and, interestingly, bulimia...starvation reduces perception of pain as well as morphine. But they are produced in very small quantities and are rapidly metabolized, making them very difficult to detect in the body.

In regards to exercise and opiates, I find that when I use poppy tea at night and exercise the next day, the high comes back around the middle of my jog and stays strong for about an hour and a half afterwards. It is quite nice.

Are there any drugs that will stimulate the release of endorphans? Sort of like pro hormones that bodybuilders use?
