Been benzo-free for over 3 months but can't seem to find any peace.
I'm not so much anxious but more on the stress/aggression side of the spectrum. This creates a lot of problems. Especially social problems, where it tends to make me anti-social, everything gets on my nerves and I have a short fuse. Some people enjoy being like that, so they can terrorise their surroundings, but I hate being like that.
Anyway, I've been down the natural medicine route before and know it works, so I thought I'd bring in the heavy artillery.
I've bought:
L-Theanine (Gaba)
Tryptophan and 5-htp (Serotonin)
DLPA (Endorphins)
Valerian (Valium-like)
Hops (Sedative like beer)
St. John's Wort (Serotonin)
Ashwaganda (Strong sedative)
Magnesium (Sedative and muscle-relaxant)
Coral-Calcium (A compliment to Magnesium)
B-Vitamin Complex (Calming for the nervous system)
High quality, organic Green Tea, with Theanine
Omega - 3 Oil (Healthy for brain function)
I think that's it, but it also needs to be mixed with as healthy a diet as possible. A lot of juiced fruits and vegetables and breakfast blends with cottage cheese, nuts, seeds, wheatgerm, banana, and berries.
That's about it, I think, or what has succeeded for me in the past.
Also, doing Yoga every day helps a lot.
